Paper cranes paper cranes
How I wish you could ease the pain
Untie the knots that have been made
And let the sadness and despair fade away.
Now I wait for my summer girl
To leap out of the forest with a twirl.
Bright and jubilant, full of color
Make everything else in life seem a whole lot duller.
But I sit inside totally cured.
While the rest of my pack runs obscured
In the deep forest that holds my love
Holding the memories as here like a fragile dove.
Paper cranes paper cranes
Please help me with the strain
Of finding the cure
So I can make her human life pure.
