The mutts clossed in on Finnick, leaving him trapped in the dead end sewer. This is it, he thought, I'm never going to see Annie again. Or meet my child.

Tears filled his eyes as he stood against the moldy pipes prepared to make his last stand.

The mutts were less then a yard a way now. Their bronze teeth I just inches from Finnick's face.

Finnick shut his eyes and waited for death. Instead he heard a ear killing sound of metal on metal. Finnick opened his eyes in time to see a bronze blade slash through the metal hide of the mutt.

When the corpse fell, a wild looking boy with devilish black hair and deep sea green eyes stood, sword in hand.

"Thanks Percy." Finnick was shedding tears of hope and relief.

"No problem Finn," Percy said capping his sword, "What are brothers for?"
