AN: This is set during Christmas, on HBP oh, vote on the poll on my profile!!

Oh, Percy!

"You called me, sir?"

"Oh, Percy, yes, I did." Rufus Scrimgeour looked up from his notes "Your father is Arthur Weasley, the Head of the Office for Detection and Confiscation of Counterfeit Defensive Spells, am I right?"

"Indeed."

"And your mother is... Sallly, no, Milly..."

"Molly, sire."

"Right. And Harry Potter is with them this holiday."

"Yes. The Burrow's security dubbled for his staying."

"Do you have any work to do now?"

"I'm dealing with the paperwork concerning the arrestment of-"

"Do that tomorrow." the Minister interrupted him "Today we're going to visit our family, it's Christmas."

"I do not wish to disrespect you, sir, but 'we'?"

"I need to have a little chat with Potter. Can you side-apparate me?"

The appareted on the Burrow back yard. For a moment they just stood there, Percy feeling nostalgic and Rufus a bit of repulse.

Anyway, they started walking to the house. Molly Weasley could be seen through the kitchen's window and suddenly a bunch of heads - mostly red-haired - peered through it and looked at them.

Percy opened the door. Everyone was staring at him in silence.

"Merry Christmas, Mother."

"Oh, Percy!" she hugged him. HE reluctantly hugged her back. A little.

"You must forgive this intrusion." Rufus smiled "Percy and I were in the vicinity - working, you know - and he couldn't resist dropping in and see you all."

Percy stood awkwardly hearing that. Even if it was the Minister of Magic, it didn't feel right to lie like that to his family... besides, he didn't like the look he was getting from the twins.

"Please, come in, sit down, Minister! Have a little purkey, or some toading... I mean-"

"No, no, my dear Molly," (Percy was relief that at least this time he got it right) "I don't want to intrude, wouldn't be here at all if Percy hadn't wanted to see you all so badly..."

"Oh, Perce!" Molly kissed her son.

"...we're only looked in for five minutes, so I'll have a stroll around the yard while you catch up with Percy. No, no, I assure you I don't want to butt in! Well, if anyone cared to show me your charming garden... ah, that young man's finished, why doesn't he take a stroll with me?"

Percy wanted to 'facepam', but it would be obvious, even if less than what the Minister had said. Merlin, how could that man be the previous head of the Auror Office if he couldn't even be a little subtle?

"Yeah, all right." Harry started to walk "It's fine. Fine."

"Wonderful! We'll just take a turn around the garden and then Percy and I'll be off. Carry on, everyone!"

There was silence again once they left.

Remus and Fleur - who really weren't into their problem - didn't know whether to talk as if Percy wasn't there or include him, so they just ate.

"Oh, Percy!" Molly hugged him again.

He missed this. The house, the food, the mood, the people... he still loved his family, he just didn't have the guts to talk again with them, or apology. He loved them, even if they were too different, too excited, loud and un-organized.

He even missed the sneaking looks the twins wore when they were up to something... just like the ones they and Ginny in that moment. Wait, what?

"Do you want some parsnip, Perce?" his mother let him go.

"CHARGE!" Fred and George yelled and throwed parsnip at him

"TAKE THAT, FOUR EYES!" Ginny joined them

"AAAAAAH!!"

"YOU DON'T MESS WITH US, MINISTER-PET!"

"DIE, TRAITOR, DIE!"

When also a spoon hit his forehead Percy stormed out of his home, thinking how the hell he had missed any of that.
