X-Men Movieverse
Bobby, St. John and Rogue
I care not what the plot is. I just want your Trio, because they rock when you write them.
Marie had a problem, several problems actually, but she was focused on only one at the moment. She had two teenage boys stuck in her head… literally; along with a megalomaniac, and a wild man, and her ex-boyfriend from Mississippi. Three teenage boys then and two insane men stuck in her head. But only two were causing her any problems right now.
Problem number one was Bobby, as usual. She genuinely liked the boy, and she knew he liked her quite a great deal (an advantage to having just a small part of his psyche stuck in her mind), but he wasn't Logan and he never would be. Seeing into his innermost desires also allowed her to see that he wasn't quite as straight-laced as he appeared.
Problem number two was St. John, as usual. She had to admit that she liked him too… in a pesky younger brother (even though he was older) sometimes I want to smash my fist into your face, sometimes I just want to hug you until you feel better kind of way. It was rather annoying actually. The problem with St. John was that he was blatantly bisexual—she'd been entertaining the most interesting fantasies about Kitty recently—rather blatantly in lust with Bobby—a few choice visions of Bobby with a whip had entered her mind at the most inopportune times—but the entire school, even the faculty, knew that… aside from Bobby of course (that was the other bit of the problem). The real problem with St. John was that he actually cared about Bobby as well which, of course, no one knew and made Marie obligated to do something to help the freak get the boy of his dreams.
At first she had worried that just maybe Bobby might not return the pyrokinetic's affection but the tiny psychic projections of their Ids in her mind made it rather obvious that this wasn't the case. They also gave her very vivid and oddly pleasant dreams on occasion. No, the real problem was that while Bobby wasn't fully straight-laced he wasn't sure how to express that he wasn't.
Clearly, there were going to need a woman's intervention to get this relationship off the ground. Luckily they had a girl with psychic copies of themselves in her head and she knew exactly how to hook them up.
First, she thought as she headed towards the boys' room, I'll tell Bobby to light as many candles as he can find. That ought to get Johnny all hot and bothered. And I'll say that if he just waits patiently the lover of his dreams will appear to him. Bobby's such a closet romantic that he won't even question it… fortunately. I don't think I'd be able to explain to him that tiny little versions of him and John are constantly doing the nasty in my head.
Next, I'll talk to John. I'll tell 'im that I think that Bobby is finally ready to take the next step in their as of yet non-existent relationship. I'll tell him to bring ice cream since that stupid weakness of Bobby's has had me at the kitchen every night for the past two weeks at two in the morning munching on frozen deserts.
Then, I'll barricade their door and eventually the candles'll go out, the ice cream will melt and the little projections in my head might finally give me a break.
She knocked hesitantly on the door, wondering what she would do if they were both in. St. John answered, shirtless and with rather tousled looking hair. His lips were slightly swollen and he looked rather thoroughly debauched. She could smell scented candles drifting out of the room, and Johnny's breath smelt like mint chocolate chip ice cream… which she knew he never ate.
"Yeah Rogue?" He asked with hooded eyes.
"Never mind Johnny," She grinned. "Congratulations."
