A/N- Hey there! This is my first time attempting to write in three or so years AND my first time doing a multichaptered thing so any feedback or criticism is welcomed. Heh I'm very rusty so take this with a grain of salt please. A small warning, a few of the characters might seem a little OOC at times and if you find one of those instances feel free to point it out to me!

Disclaimer - Inuyasha and it's characters do not belong to me, they belong to Rumiko Takahashi.

She never took him for a painter, with his disinterest in anything not academically furthering, but then again she was also unaware of the fact that he had a little sister, so today was apparently a day just chock full of slightly weird but not unpleasant surprises.

What caught her attention was not that he was apparently an artist, nor was it the dramatic reveal of his younger sibling, no, it was what he was painting that had her in a slight daze. A huge silver-white dog curled around a small figure, taking up the majority of the canvas with its seemingly tense body. The dog had odd markings under its eyes, two magenta stripes on either side of its snout, distorted by the snarl marring its face. In front of this stood Sesshomaru, slightly bent as he slowly gave life to the scene spilled onto his canvas.

She took a deep breath, as if trying to silently tell herself to be quiet and lifted her hand to her necklace, knocking a container holding brushes to the ground as she did so. She stiffened as he twitched and turned to face her, grasping for words, trying to explain her presence.

"Ah! Um... sorry about that" She got out before turning tomato red at his slight glare. Sesshomaru picked up the fallen brushes and raised an eyebrow at her, slightly amused but annoyed that she had disturbed his peace. In turn Kagome grew more flustered and began to wave her hands around, hoping that he would understand.

"Uh... mm nevermind!" She mumbled before she turned on her heels and sprinted down the empty hallway as fast as she could, heart thumping away to an unknown beat.

'Man why couldn't I just have explained it to him like a normal person. I wasn't even doing anything wrong!' She sighed softly and slowed to walk. 'Now I have to deal with the class plans by myself'

She turned entered her classroom. 'Guess they're going to have to deal with pink aprons and flower clips since I've run away from the only other person on this stupid planning committee'. She was originally supposed to find Sesshomaru and discuss plans for the upcoming summer festival, but apparently fate had other plans for her. She settled down into her seat and started drafting ideas, twirling her pen in her hand as time passed.

A/N- Welp *cringes* what did you think? Thanks for stopping by and please R&R!
