The Rolling Stones have influenced me greatly. I don't care what other Americans say: British Bands are awesome. Period. Nothing to it, no catch, or anything. Now, where has One Direction came from? The UK. For all you modernists. Now, what does America have to offer? Justin Beiber aka girl magnet with girl singing. Do you know how many parodies have been made about the song baby? Of course, Call me maybe is a great song. Awolnation is good, too. Anyway, this is a poem about Iris.
"She comes in colours everywhere/ She combs her hair/She's like a Rainbow."-Rolling Stones
Iris
The rainbow goddess
Messenger of the gods.
Supplying the world with clouds
Making rainbows everywhere.
Married to Zephyrus
God of the west wind.
Mother of Pothes.
Helping the sky be blue
The grass be green
The night black
The rainbow maker was at work.
She comes in colours.
Spreading colours across the sky
Down on the surface of the world.
Spreading word of humanity to Zeus.
Aphrodite isn't the only one with beauty.
She comes in colours everywhere.
She combs her hair.
She's like a rainbow.
Combing colors in the air.
Oh, everywhere.
She comes in colors.
