She eyed him suspiciously. He'd been unusually jumpy throughout dinner and she was starting to wonder. "Are you okay, Doctor?" The red head asked as she cocked her head at him. He swallowed harshly and nodded forcefully.

"Of course; I'm perfect, absolutely peachy keen." He told her a little too rushed for her liking. Not to mention the fact that his voice was unusually high pitched. She hummed softly in the back of her throat but didn't say anything. Her husband leaned into her and tapped her hand. She looked at him.

"I've never seen him so fidgety. And that's saying something." He commented and she chuckled lightly before glancing at the man in question. He was glaring at his wife who had the most smug smirk on her face the red head had ever seen—and that was saying something.

Suddenly the Time Lord bolted out of his chair and everybody stared at him. Nervously, he straightened his bow-tie and swallowed, unconsciously tugging at his collar. "I'm just going to grab some water." He supplied curtly before briskly turning around and walking away. The curly haired woman chuckled and shook her head.

"What has gotten into him tonight?" She questioned with an amused smile. The red head hummed and narrowed her eyes slightly—suspiciously—as she watched the time traveler sip her wine, unsuccessfully trying to hide the satisfied smirk on her face.

Her raggedy man came back soon enough with a tall glass of ice cold water. "Feeling better, sweetie?" She asked and he glared at her but didn't say anything—as if sending her a silent message. He crossed his legs after that.

It was later in the dinner when she saw him start to fidget uncomfortably again. Then he jumped, knocking the underside of the table with his knee and whipped his head to his wife. "River!" He exclaimed, horrified.

"What?" She asked innocently. He sighed and swallowed, looking from the curly haired time traveler to her parents and then back again. She could tell that he was caught in between a rock and a hard place.

"Is something wrong?" The Roman asked hesitantly, knowing that if he had a sword on him his hand would be gripping the handle tightly. Even in his childish innocence he knew that something was up. The time travelers ignored him.

"I was just drawing on your leg." She leaned into him and said just loud enough for her mother to hear.

"In Gallifreyan!" He hissed back and she raised an eyebrow shamelessly. "Very dirty Gallifreyan!" The Time Lord whispered inaudibly—or at least he thought it was.

"Melody Pond!" Amy exclaimed, leaning over and covering her husband's ears in horror—suddenly everything made sense.

"Oh like you're never whispering things to dad!"

a/n: I thought it would be fun to see those stories about River doing things to the Doctor out of sight but while the Ponds are around from the Ponds point of view instead of River or the Doctor's. Because I mean let's be honest, Amy would know something. Plus it's way too much fun not to toy around with what would happen if the Ponds found out.

Hope you liked it :)
