Chapter 1: Pest Infestation?
Walking down one of the many hallways in his estate, Ciel Phantomhive came across one of the most evil, sickest and the utmost scariest creatures he's known since birth; a cat. The pure black cat sat in the hallway at the corner which leads down another hallway. The black cat's tail swung back and forth to the side of its body as those clear, bright blue eyes stared at Ciel who hadn't moved an inch since he saw the cat. Ciel was trembling slightly but slowly walked closer to the cat as his pride would not dare let him stay where he was just because of a 'mere pest'. As Ciel approached the cat, the cat disappeared around the corner and seemed to disappear from the hallway. Ciel felt relieved as he knew the cat was gone and there was a very small chance he would see it again. However there was a strange smell in the air as he passed the hallway the cat had 'disappeared' into.
Later that day, Ciel had been working on the paper work approving the new toy products that the funtom company was releasing into stores when a familiarly horrible noise came from the door way. Looking up from his work, Ciel again had come into contact with yet another cat. However, this was a different cat as it was a patchy ginger cat and its eyes were a dark hazel brown. The cat sat directly underneath the doorway and positioned its tail to swing around to the front and flick up and down. Ciel starred at the cat for quite some time before he began to work on the paper work in front of him, hoping the cat would just disappear like the other cat had. Ciel blankly starred at the paperwork as he could not focus his attention on his work when he knew 'that creature' was near. Ciel was snapped out of his thoughts by his demon butler carrying in a silver tray with his afternoon tea and a sweet cake on a plate. Quickly looking up, Ciel swerved his head to look behind the butler to the door way which was now empty. Ciel sighed in relief as he could now work in peace and would not be troubled any further. As Sebastian the butler left the cake and tea in reach of Ciel, he silently walked out to not disrupt his master from work. Ciel took a bite of the cake and noticed the strange smell had returned. Perhaps it might have been a smell given off from the cake as it made sense, seeming how down the hallway the cat has disappeared into, was in the direction of the kitchen. Ciel again shrugged it off as he was too occupied with work and afternoon tea.
For many days later, Ciel began to see cats in the hallways and on the outside of the windows. The sightings of the cats were only for a couple of seconds at most, but Ciel knew there were more than 5 different cats in the mansion. From what Ciel had seen there was definitely a black, ginger, white, patchy white/black and skin coloured cat infesting the estate. Not only were there more sightings of the cats but the estate began to smell strange and the odour grew stronger. Ciel's skin became irritated because of his allergy and was fed up by cats as his annoyance outgrew his fear of them. Ciel had originally ordered Sebastian to find and remove all the cats but nothing really changed; Ciel himself would find where the cats are hiding and rid of them himself.
Random idea popped up while playing with the cat =3 Hope you liked cause I plan to make this story last for a couple more chapters with a 'twist' ^_-
