All right, this needs a little explanation.

Recently, as part of an English assignment as school, I was asked to come up with sentences using the words exasperation, apprehension, ominous, and audacity.
Being a TF nut, the four sentences that I created became three TF vignettes. This evening, I refined the vignettes I did for the assignment, and wrote three more to accompany the first three so I could post them all up here.

The vignettes are deliberately written in a vague manner, lacking specific names and using loose physical descriptions instead. This was done so that one without knowledge of the fandom can understand them as a basic level, but those in the fandom will (hopefully) be able to figure out who each of the characters are. To help out, the first three are G1, pre-movie, the fourth is TFA, post-series, the fifth is TFP, pre-series, and the last one is Movieverse, post-DOTM.

I may make more of these in the future. ;)

The ruddy red mech's frustration turned to fury in the blink of an optic. He subsequently let out a roar as he charged the gray tyrant, guns blazing.

Trembling fearfully, the little gray marksbot struggled to hold himself together as he was roughly pulled from the brig cell and cuffed. As his captors moved him along, each pedefall seemed louder and scarier, and the shadows in the dim corridors of the underwater lair seemed ever more foreboding.

The red artillery specialist's resolve rapidly recovered. With a burst of passion, he ran back into the foray, the thrill of combat taking over.

It was so brief that no one saw it, but had anyone been looking at the faces of the prisoners, they would have seen the faintest hint of fear passing through three optics as the death sentence was declared.

Their bright red and deep blue armor muted by the moonlight shining on the top mesa, the two warriors, one large and one small, slept peacefully. Tonight, no one else existed but themselves.

There had been no time to think about it previously, with the Earth threatened and all. But now that it was over, the reality came down, and hard. The young warrior, sitting in his mentor's quarters, let a small sound of anguish slip from his damaged vocalizer.
