Antithesis
Purity of an angel, sin of the devil
He loves her most when he remembers all those ruthless deeds he had committed in her name, the strength he derives from her, how she riles him up in all and every way possible and impossible.
It is the most peculiar thing yet most befitting that she would be replsed by him and he would be drawn to her like moth to flame, she was the embodiment of everything good, everything pure and he was the exact opposite, a monster, corrupt, rotten and decayed to the depths of his core and naturally they have to co-exist like every Symantec and its opposite … warmth cannot be perceived without cold, light cannot exist without dark.
Yet, He hates her most when she tries to save him …
Naraku ... Onigumo or whatever he has become, it doesnot matter anymore, hates the priestess with all his heart, it is searing like molten metals , merciless and consuming like those flames that engulfed him long ago.
She is fire and she set circle around his heart, chaining it the heart of the very wrong being and now she was paying the price.
Only that she doesnot know it, she doesnot realise it.
Kikyo … the purest thing he had ever seen.
The obsession around which his existence, his survival revolves, Kikyo with her delicate eyes and tender touch, lighter than a caress … like the crisp morning breeze.
However, In all those days when they meet face to face, when he heaps her up in his arms and run; like the lowly thug he used to be when chased after stealing a most precious loot , something burns within him, like black ice! Such desire to rip her apart, the defiant Priestess matched only by a desire to hold her close to himself, mark her as his, soak her and baptise her to his name, make her yield and love him as much as he loves her, as much as he loathes her.
It tears him apart.
Kikyo knows it, she feels it through the thin of his fabrics as much as she knows that they are destined to exist together, the opposite ends of the spectrum, the counterparts and that is why she is certain She will be the death of him as much as he would be hers.
And he knows now that he has come this far that he is going down with her.
It will always be a tie between them.
