Prompt: Drink
Mac watched as Michelle delicately sipped her chocolate milkshake. Her full lips surrounded the straw, her cheeks hollowing as she sucked in the cold treat. She smiled happily at the taste and he groaned silently.
"Can I have some?" he asked.
She turned to look at him, confused, and then realized what he was asking. She wrinkled her brow, "No."
He almost laughed he was so shocked, "Why not?"
She took another sip of her milkshake and then gave him her very logical answer, "Because you could have gotten one at the diner and you didn't, so you don't get to steal mine."
"I just want a sip."
"At first, then you'll want another, then pretty soon I'll be pouring half of it into a class. I don't think so; I'll be keeping this shake all to myself, thank you very much."
Mac couldn't help but smile. Even after nearly a month of dating Michelle still constantly surprised and intrigued him. She seemed so disciplined, so easy, and simple, but underneath she was complex, sweet, funny.
He slip closer to her, waiting a few minutes until her guard was down and leaned in to kiss her cheek.
"What was that for?" she asked as she dipped a fry in ketchup.
He shrugged, "Just felt like it. Can't I just feel like giving you a kiss?"
"Of course," she said, smiling, "In fact, I think I feel like giving you a kiss." She kissed his lips this time and it quickly went from a light peck to something more. Soon the food was forgotten as he pressed her back against the couch, his mouth moving furiously against hers. She moaned as his mouth moved to her neck, his teeth nipping her pulse, before he moved away completely.
"What?" she asked, and then, "Hey!" as she realized he was now drinking her milkshake, "You played me."
He smiled, taking a bite of burger and finishing it off with more shake, "Yes, I did, and quite well."
She let out a shriek and lunged for him. He put the drink down just in time to grab her, his hands holding her arms as she jumped on him. One hand moved to her head to pull her closer for a kiss. She struggled at first, but then began kissing him back. He let his hold on her ease as his hands slid down to settle in the curve of her hips. It had been so long since he'd done nothing more with a woman that kiss her and enjoy the feel of her against him. It was so sweet, good, and…painful.
He let out a gasp as her fist rammed its way into his stomach.
She quickly moved off him, grabbing her milkshake as she moved back to her burger and fries, "Told you not to touch my shake."
He wasn't sure why he hadn't seen it coming, after all, Michelle was always surprising him.
