As I walk along the boardwalk with my sister, Clover, at my side, we stare off into the dusk of sunset, the beauty sweeps the theme. Clover turns and begins to walk backwards "So, we're finally 14...its weird." We had been born at midnight, in a small town, with quiet people, and boardwalk kids. We weren't the "boardwalk kids" anymore. If we hang out down here now, they'd think we were "Rebels" and call the police. Our parents were out for the night, and we were getting pizza from the old pizza shop. "What'll it be, boardwalk-errs." said Oliver, a little kid who worked there, for family. Clover jumped ahead of my words, as she said "Two slices, Ollie!" He replied with a jokingly "Hah, ever going to let your brother speak?" I could feel my face growing redder by the second. Oliver had been the kid that everyone knew, but never saw. I dazed off, the ground flew up before me, rain fell upwards, and birds flew down, I then hear Oliver..."Hey- 5 dollars, Chase-" I quickly hand him the money, and take my piece. My face was redder than the pepperonis. I made my way to the boardwalk, and sat down. Clover ran after me, laughing, then sat next to me, giggling "You really zoned out." I glared at her, then sighed. We ate dinner, and stared off into the mid-sunset stars. It felt like the perfect scene. I was with my best friend, and it was chilly, but okay. We stared for what felt like hours. I got up and said "Mom and dad will be home soon, we better-" She jumped up, and ran to our bike, yelling "I get to peddle!" I got up and ran after her, and climbed onto the back of the bike.
