Hey guys! It's my first time writing a fan fiction, so I've decided to make it really short but straight to the point. (It's a one-shot!) Here are the statistics:
Title: When The Love Finally Hits
Summary: After an injury that Annabeth witnesses, Percy is there to comfort her and get her better. At the time are they able to realize that the love finally hits.
Pairing: Percy and Annabeth (Percabeth)
Status: Dating
Words: 486 (not including these bits of information)
"Annabeth!" I cried out in agony. My sides were burning and all I felt was excruciating pain. In worst terms, Annabeth plummeted to the ground. She seemed lifeless and she let out a deep, monstrous groan. Jason finally managed to "get rid" of the monster, and I rushed to Annabeth's aid.
"It hurts, Percy," she croaked choking on her breath. I took a hold of her cold, pale hand and pulled her on me.
"Hang in there Wise Girl. Both you and I know you'll be okay, but you need to keep your eyes open for me. Can you do that?" I spoke softly trying to let her know I was there for her all the way. She smiled a genuine smile, and I lifted her off the ground and hurried her to the ship to grab some ambrosia and nectar. While I searched the cabinets and drawers for ambrosia and nectar, Annabeth quietly cooed at our anniversary picture sitting on the night table.
"Got ya!" I unintentionally screamed once I got a hold of some ambrosia and accidentally frightening Annabeth. "Sorry," I smiled sheepishly.
"Why'd you keep this? I thought that Clarisse and the rest of the Ares cabin had this picture stuck on the wall with darts," Annabeth let out a chuckle.
"I snuck into their cabin one night and stole it. Though, I was only really taking back what belonged to me, well us, in the first place." I smoothly exclaimed. I could have sworn I saw a mischievous smirk dangling on her lips until she shook her head and signaled for me to come closer.
"Come here," she instructed. "I need to tell you something." I slowly crept my way to the edge of her bed and fed her little bits of ambrosia occasionally taking a bite myself.
"You've been by my side since forever. I've never in my life discovered someone who would do absolutely do anything for me, regardless of their own life. You've been there when nobody else was, and all I'm really trying to say is..." her voice faded and she showed a shy smile and looked down.
"Should I say it first, or would it be easier if I kissed you?" I asked jokingly and she pulled herself, grabbing a hold of my head, and kissed me. This wasn't at all like any of the kisses I've ever shared with Annabeth. We're both usually so calm and sweet. This particular kiss made me explode with the most powerful and life impacting fireworks I've ever felt. It wasn't lust, it was love. It wasn't sweet, but it was definitely passionate. It was the best kiss I've ever had in my entire life. The years I've lived trying to find something and build it so that it was permanent was over.
She slowly, yet hesitantly pulled away and whispered, "I love you."
"I love you, more."
Thanks for reading my first fan fiction! In the future, they'll definitely be longer, but I just wanted to start this account up a bit. Thanks again! Review and tell me what you think...
