TK: THIS FANFIC CONTAINS TONS OF SPOILERS! This is from Harry's p.o.v. and what I think might have been going through his head as he boarded the Hogwarts Express. (I know it went though mine when I finished reading the book)
Disclaimer: I do not own Harry Potter. If I did Sirius and Dumbledore would be alive.

They died protecting him. First his mother and father, then his godfather, and now . . .
Dumbledore.
Even though he watched helplessly as Snape cast the Unforgivable Curse, even though he saw the green jet of light hit Dumbledore square in the chest . . . he still couldn't believe it.
He watch Dumbledore's body fall from the top of the Astronomy Tower, saw it at the tower's base, stayed to see his beloved headmaster's funeral, something made him feel like Dumbledore was still there.
Then his mind wandered back to what he had said to the new Minister of Magic.
"He will only be gone from the school when none here are loyal to him."
Harry was sure that after what happened to Dumbledore, nearly anyone in the school would agree that Dumbledore was not gone. In body, yes, he was gone forever. But in spirit and essence, he would never be gone, not at Hogwarts nor in the hearts of any of the students that studied under him, as teacher or Headmaster.

TK: sorry but I just had to write something. I finished HBP at 2:00 p.m. on the 17th and this is the only way I can openly express my feelings about the book. My anger (at J.K.) and sadness (at Dumbledore's death) spurred me into my first fanfiction!
I might continue this as a story and just have this chapter as a lament to Dumbledore, but it only depends on if the people kind enough to review think I should.
