Disclaimer: I don't own Rise of the Guardians.

He was alone. He cried out to the children walking before him. None of them spared him a glance. He smiled when he saw Jamie coming towards him. His first believer. He opened his arms, needing contact with the boy. But Jamie just walked through him. Jack screamed as the boy passed through him but Jamie didn't hear him. The boy walked on, smile on his face. Jack watched in horror as the boy walked away. What was he going to do? North! North would know what to do. Jack flew quickly towards the North Pole. He burst into the workshop and flew past the yetis. He flew into North's workshop and ran to the man's desk. North sat at the small desk tinkering with a small rocket.

"North! Something's wrong!" North didn't look up. Jack hesitantly reached a hand out towards the man. His fingers disappeared through the fabric of North's red suit and stuck out of the back. Jack choked on his breath as he stumbled backwards. Tears flew freely down his face. Jack let out a torn sob and collapsed onto the floor. He was alone. No one could see him. No one could hear him.

Jack screamed as he shot out of the snow. The nightmare still lingered in the front of his mind. He clutched at his white hair as he screamed. Tears streamed down his face as he sat in the snow. I am not alone. I am not alone. I am not alone. He repeated it like a mantra in his head. He hadn't been alone in a while. He had the Guardians. He had his believers. He was not alone. But sometimes he feared the return of the silence. The wind his only friend. Those 300 years haunted him. He would always remember the silence. How no one could see him. But he was better now. He had believers. He had the Guardians.

I am not alone.
