Disclaimer: I do not own Robin Hood or any of the characters. I'm simply making new adventures for other fans to enjoy, Thanks.

Important! I have not seen the supposed death of Marian in season two so I'm just assuming that she stays dead and is dead in this story. So therefore I don't know what happens with the black knights or any of the other characters so I'm not sure what the timeline is. Just go with me here alright?

The night was growing darker every minute. The tip of the sun was barely peeking over the horizon. A young girl, around 19 or so moved softly about Sherwood Forest. Her long blonde hair hung down in a braid down to her mid back. She wore a white quarter sleeved shirt with a black corset. Her pants were a shade of olive green tucked into a pair of black boots. Her name was Rose.

The only thing of value Rose had in her possession was a sword. It clung to her side as she walked through the darkness of the night. Then a crunch of leaves caught Roses' attention. She stopped for a moment, checking the surroundings, and continued a little more carefully. Then again, a rustle of branches caused her to stop.

"I know someone is out there. Show yourself now and you will be spared."

A low chuckle sent chills up Roses' spine as a tall lanky figure emerged from the trees. The man was indeed tall but also muscular. He had short brown hair and a scruffy beard that hid most of his face. He walked slowly toward Rose as he spoke.

"Hello love. What's a pretty little thing like yourself doing wondering about the forest at this time of night?"

Rose didn't want to back down but her instincts told her that this man was dangerous and could seriously hurt her if she didn't think of something quick. She backed up away from her pursuer to keep a safe distance.

"I don't want to have to fight you", she said with a sturdy a voice as she could muster.

The man laughed at this. "Oh love, I don't want to have to fight you either. I'm just looking for a friend in this lonely place. And besides, I think we both know what would happen if you tried anything risky."

Rose stopped backpedaling and stood firm. She knew what was coming and prepared herself for a hard fight. Probably to the death.

"I think you need to keep looking. And you should be the one not doing anything risky."

The tall burly man didn't like the way she talked back to him. He knew that his prey would not live for very long. At her last remark the man launched himself at Rose and they began to fight.
