The moon rose over the horizon. The birds stopped their afternoon chirping and singing. All of the forest creatures were closing their eyes.

Except for one. A cat. She was a pretty black cat with bright emerald eyes. She stared at the moon.

"What does it mean?" She murmured, lost in thoughts. She remembered the message clearly. Before claws become sheathed, one will come, risking a life that can not be saved, looking upon what is normally craved, shining brighter than the Silverpelt in the night sky, with an amber gaze that will seek peace. She thought back to when her mother, a Starclan cat, spoke to her. Was it the fate of Creekclan?

She sighed. Creekclan is strong, and we have many warriors. Plus, no invasions from Birdclan, Clifftopclan, or Lightningclan in the past few moons. That's good. She looked at her paws. "Oh Moonstar, help me, dear mother..." She whispered, her words disappearing through the light wind.

A starry black she-cat with gray stripes appeared, her blue eyes almost glittering. "Nightstar, it's going to be okay, Starclan will always watch over you and you know it," the fainted words echoed through her head, Moonstar fading away, leaving the dark she cat alone yet again. "Mother... Don't go..." She whispered.

Nightstar shook her head. It was late. "Goodnight, Moonstar," she sighed and went in her nest and curled up in the soft moss. She drifted off into a deep sleep, going unconcious. What she didn't know was that a pair of shining green eyes glowed from the entrance, a smirk on the cat's face.

"Moonstar, the prophecy you made, what does it mean?" The former Creekclan medicine cat, Rivershine, asked.

Moonstar sighed. "A rouge, a kittypet, maybe a loner. I haven't decided yet who the prophecized cat is yet. But there is a cat that can live up to it I believe, and that cat will only want peace in the clans, and will not question her loyalty, Rivershine," Moonstar responded, staring down at a pool of water, her eyes darkening.

"Dark times have come for not only Creekclan, but all four clans. This cat is the savior of the forest!" She hissed, staring at what might be the prophecized cat. "I think that's her..." she growled.
