Another GMD fic, but featuring my OCs Eve, Stella, Flappy, and Andrew with Olivia and Fidget and all other GMD characters belong to Disney.
Eve invited her boyfriend, Fidget, Olivia (his best friend), Stella (Olivia's older sister), and Olivia's schoolmate, Andrew. Even Eve's little brother, Flappy was just as excited. He enjoyed having Fidget and Olivia over along with her sister and classmate!
Eve's invitation read:
Please come to my house for Halloween. We are going to do some Spooktacular events at eve.
Thanks,
Eve
Fidget and Olivia read it carefully and asked Olivia's father if they could go and stay at her friend's girlfriend's house. He said yes and dropped the two off at Eve's. "Stella called to let me know that she, too, was invited to Eve's Halloween stayover party," Mr. Flaversham said and added with a wink, "And that's no reason you shouldn't be invited yourselves because you are."
Fidget and Olivia smiled warmly and hugged her dad.
"Thank you, Daddy," she said.
"Yeah, thanks," said Fidget.
"Happy Halloween!" they both yelled.
"Have fun at Eve's and Happy Halloween!" Mr. Flaversham said as he left the two alone with Eve (in a witch costume), Flappy (in a vampire costume), Andrew (in a baseball player costume), and Stella (in a blue fairy costume).
"Stella!" Olivia beamed with excitement.
"Olivia!" Stella shouted back and the two sisters hugged.
"Fidget. Olivia. What a pleasant surprise!" Eve exclaimed, "I'm glad you could make it!" With that, she kissed Fidget on the cheek.
"We're glad you could make it, too, Eve," Fidget laughed. "You look bewitchingly beautiful in that witch costume."
"Why, thank you!" Eve giggled.
"Fidget!" Flappy shouted happily as he leapt into Fidget's arms for a hug.
"Hey, Flappy," Fidget said with a smile, "It's nice to see you, too."
"I'm a vampire!" Flappy squealed.
"Me, too," Fidget replied.
"Olivia, you're my sweet little angel," Stella told Olivia.
"And you're the beautiful blue fairy," Olivia pointed out, looking at Stella's blue gown with light blue wings. "Will you be my fairy godmother?"
"Hmm, I could be everyone's godmother tonight."
"Yay! That's even better!" Olivia cheered.
"Hey, Olivia, what do you think of my outfit?" Andrew asked. He wore a red baseball cap and T-shirt and dark blue shorts.
"You look good, Andrew," Olivia complimented, "Are you a baseball player?"
"Yup, and you look pretty, too," Andrew declared proudly.
Olivia grinned. "Thanks."
"Who's ready to carve pumpkins?" Eve shouted.
"Me!" Flappy cried and everyone gathered around to carve pumpkins.
…
Soon after the pumpkins were carved, everybody brought them outside and Eve and Stella lit them up.
"What next, Eve?" Stella asked.
"Storytime," Eve whispered in her ear.
…
Eve and everyone else gathered around on the floor with flashlights. "Alright," Eve sighed, "Who wants to go first?"
Fidget breathed deeply and the rest had done the same. They didn't feel like telling spooky stories.
"Okay, I guess I'll go first," Eve relented. Each held a flashlight lit to their faces. "There once was a sweet old witch, stirring magic spells into her cauldron when she heard a knock."
"Come in, said the witch," Flappy piped up.
"Two kids that came in were chased by ghosts," Fidget went on.
"But their dog chased the ghosts away," Olivia chimed in.
"The witch pet their dog," Stella said.
"The ghosts came in the house and apologized," Andrew continued.
"The children and the witch forgave the ghosts and all was well," Eve finished.
"That wasn't scary," Fidget whined.
"But Fidget, some scary stories have a happy ending," Eve said, putting her hand on his shoulder.
Fidget nodded in agreement.
"Okay, who wants cookies and cider?" Eve said, changing the subject.
"Me!" Flappy cheered.
"I brought some cheese crumpets," Stella said and everyone each had cookies and cheese crumpets, but saved room for candy because trick or treating was on Eve's to-do list.
…
The six trick or treaters stuck together as they made their way to each house. On the way, they saw children in ghost costumes.
"Eve, are these ghosts like the ones in your story?" Andrew asked Eve.
"No, Andrew, it's just a story," Eve replied, "By the way, I like the way you told it."
"Thanks."
"You bet."
Flappy rushed up to knock on the door at Basil's flat.
"Flappy, wait!" Eve warned, but Flappy was already at the door, knocking. Luckily, they were in a safe neighborhood with Ratigan gone. Eve and Fidget had been living peacefully without him there to ruin their holiday, especially not for their friends and siblings.
Basil answered his door.
"Trick or treat!" the trick or treaters shouted.
"Why, hello," Basil said dropping candy into their pails. "And how are you this fine evening?"
"We're fine," Olivia said.
"Nice to see you," Dawson said.
"Olivia and I were invited to Eve's Halloween stayover party," Fidget added.
"We carved pumpkins," Flappy said.
"Told ghost stories," Andrew went on.
"And had cookies, cheese crumpets, and cider," Stella concluded.
"That all sounds like fun," Dawson remarked, "Eh, Basil?"
Basil nodded. "Oh, and I brought you some of these caramel apples to help you go your merry way," he said, giving them caramel apples. "Have a safe trip and Happy Halloween!"
"Happy Halloween, Basil and Dawson!" they said as they disappeared into the night.
…
Their next stop was the queen's castle. Eve was the one to knock this time. The queen opened her door.
"Trick or treat!" the six friends shouted.
"Ooh, looking nice tonight," the queen complimented as she threw candy into their pails. "Enjoy."
"Thank you and Happy Halloween!"
"Happy Halloween!" the queen shouted back as she watched them go.
…
After every house everyone got a chance to knock on, the last one they stopped at was Fidget's parents' house, in which door Fidget knocked on. Fidget's parents answered their door.
"Trick or treat!"
Fidget's parents passed out candy into their bags, including their son's. Fidget hugged his parents. "Thank you so much!" he said.
Fidget's mom kissed her son on the cheek and rubbed his head.
"You're welcome, Fidget," his father said and glanced at his son's girlfriend and her brother. "Is that your girlfriend with her brother?"
"Yup, that's my girlfriend, Eve and her brother, Flappy," replied Fidget.
"They seem like nice people," Fidget's mom said.
"They are, Mom."'
"Hello, Mr. and Mrs. Bat," Eve said.
"Hello, you must be Eve," Fidget's father guessed.
"Hi!" Flappy squealed in delight.
"Well, hello, little one," Fidget's mother greeted, "You must be Flappy. Fidget was talking about you." She rubbed the little bat's head like she'd done with her son.
"My mommy does that, too," Flappy stated.
Fidget yawned. "Well, Mom and Dad. I guess I'll see you soon." He hugged both of his parents. "Happy Halloween!" he and the others cried as they departed from the house.
"Happy Halloween!" Fidget's parents shouted.
…
That night, after trick or treating, everyone was snug in their beds. Eve and Fidget slept next to each other with Flappy sandwiched between them. Olivia slept near Fidget and Stella with Andrew in the middle of the sisters. And they all had a good night's sleep.
The End
Done! Happy Halloween!
