A/N: Not my best work, but I wanted to get something out there to celebrate 2013. It's also fitting that my 100th story is about bringing in the New Year.
ohnoohnonononononono America thought as he rummaged through every nook and cranny in his house. Today was New Year's Eve, and there was no way he could celebrate without fireworks. He couldn't think of anyone who'd have a sufficient amount of-
Come to think of it, Hong Kong'd probably have super awesome illegal fireworks that'd look beautiful. He heard stories from a hilariously teary England about how Hong Kong'd nearly set the house on fire because he "accidentally" set off a firework off in the house. America knew there was a reason he loved the quiet dude. So he called Hong Kong, with too much excitement in his voice.
"Hong Kong, dude, I know you're the one with the best fireworks in the world," America liked using hyperbole to aide his cause, and Hong Kong didn't seem to mind the flattering exaggeration. "So can you be the best bro ever and light some fireworks with me?"
"Sure, I'll be over before you can hang up," Hong Kong replied. As promised, arrived so quickly America couldn't believe with an enormous bag full of exotic looking fireworks. America's eyes widened and Hong Kong's eyes glittered with a devilish twinkle.
"Let's light these suckers!" They watched the sky as it exploded in a gloriously sparkling eruption of color.
