I'm not really sure if anyone's written this crossover yet, so here goes my first attempt at a D N Angel fic... Please don't kill me... Please?
Dark slipped into the cathedral by the tunnel passage, chuckling to himself at the stupidity of the police troops surrounding the building. After all this time, did they still expect him to enter through the front doors?
Tonight, he had his eye on the religious relic called the Tsuki no Hikari, a dazzling diamond-studded white cross. According to his map, it should be right... here?
He turned the corner, and his eyes were greeted by an empty glass case.
An open empty glass case.
"What?" He remembered to lower his voice just in time. How could the Tsuki no Hikari be gone? Dark rushed over to the case, angrily scanning the room for any sign of the artifact. When he reached the glass, he heard a small poof! and a card came floating down from the ceiling. Actually, it sort of plummeted down, because it was edged in metal, and it struck Dark on the head.
"OW!"
The card read: I'll take this back to its rightful owner. -Saint Tail
Saint Tail? Who's Saint Tail? asked Daisuke, clearly puzzled.
Who cares? She stole our treasure, and she's gonna pay!
B-but you don't know where she is, or what she looks like!
"There's someone there!" The voices of the police were muffled as they carried through the door.
"Let's go, Wiz!" Dark called.
The cute, rabbit-like creature turned into the Phantom Thief's legendary black wings and they flew out through the window.
The police burst through the door just in time to see the elusive thief escape for what felt like the thousandth time.
"Curses! He got away again!" yelled the frustrated commander, while Hiwatari Satoshi looked on coolly from the shadows. His keen eyes settled on the card that Dark had left. Calmly, he stalked over and picked it up, looking at it curiously.
"Gentlemen, we have reason to believe that Dark did not succeed in his endeavor tonight."
"Huh?" The police commander paused in his tantrum to hear what Satoshi was saying.
"Look." Satoshi handed him the card.
"Oh, great! Now we have another thief to track down. How are we ever going to do this?"

"Good morning, Daisuke!" Riku called to her friend. Risa, sitting at the desk beside her, waved to Daisuke as he hopped over the desks and stood next to Riku.
"Hey, Riku, Risa."
"Did you hear about Dark?" asked Risa. "I heard that he was defeated by another thief."
"R-really?" Daisuke stammered.
Defeated? I didn't even see her! Dark ranted inside Daisuke's head.
Quiet down, Dark. Any louder and they'll be able to hear you!
"They say that the new thief calls herself Saint Tail," Risa continued. Just then, the bell rang, and Daisuke rushed back to his seat. The teacher slid the door open and walked in, her heels clicking on the wood floor.
"Good morning, class!"

"So, who's this Saint Tail you were talking about, Risa?" Daisuke asked her at lunch, curious.
"She's supposedly stealing things that were stolen from people and returning them," his friend answered as she bit into her egg-and-ham sandwich.
"Oh, I see."
Riku cut in impatiently. "Yeah, and she's better than Dark."
What? Better than me, the illustrious Phantom Thief? Unheard of! That makes her my rival! The enemy!
Daisuke flinched involutarily at Dark's outburst, earning him some weird looks from the twins. "Eheh... Nothing..."
It seems that short chapters are my thing right now. I promise I'll try harder!
