"Now, Dean!" Castiel shouted loudly, his blue eyes bright with fury.

Dean jumped in front of the angel, swinging his blade over his head and letting the momentum carry it into the neck of a leviathan. The man-like monster's eyes grew wide for a split second, before it's head was cut clean off, falling to the leaf littered ground with a soft thump, its body following shortly after, spurting black blood from its neck. Dean panted, looking around wildly for more opponents, however he found none, apart from the mass of dead bodies scattered about them.

He turned back to Castiel with a grin and offered out his hand, meaning to high five his friend.

Castiel frowned and took Dean's hand with his own, his eyes sliding back up to the hunter's face, tilting his head a little.

"Err. Cas?" Dean asked, a look of confusion on his face.

"Yes Dean?"

Dean looked down at their hands. "I sorta meant to high five you…" He trailed off, looking back up to Cas, his expression unreadable.

"Oh!" Castiel's eyes widened with understanding and he pulled his hand away before slapping Dean's hand which was left awkwardly palm upwards. He looked back to Dean, with a hopeful look.

Dean shook his head, a smile starting to creep along his mouth. "You're impossible." He chuckled lightly, grabbing the confused angel's hand again. "We can do this too, if you'd like."

Cas smiled back, not entirely understanding Dean's humor, but it made him happy to see the hunter smiling nonetheless. He watched Dean out of the corner of his eye as they started to walk away from the slaughtered leviathan corpse and down the slope, looking away quickly as he caught Dean's eye. Dean smiled again, squeezing the angel's hand and swinging his arm happily.
