POTIONS EXAMS AND BURNING PARCHMENT

Sirius sighed. Remus looked up and mouthed 'what'.

Sirius grinned. He pretended to light his Potions exam, and succeeded particularly well in the demonstration. The bottom corner of the parchment started to burn.

Sirius blanched and put it out in a panic, trying to do so quietly, as not to attract the attention of the Potions master.

Remus choked in his attempt not to laugh out loud. To cover his own laughs, Sirius coughed. Repetitively. Which led to more laughter on Remus' behalf, which *naturally* caused Sirius to laugh harder. Which resulted in the both of them being sent out from the exam.

Out in the corridor, both Gryffindors burst into howls of laughter.

"What the hell were you trying to do!?" Remus asked, tears running down his face.

Sirius shrugged, and flashed his trademark grin. "I was bored. And finished."

"And feeling slightly pyromanic?" Remus snorted.

"Shut up, Moony! How was *I* supposed to know that parchment is flammable?"

Remus raised an eyebrow. "Gee, you'd never know..."

Sirius shoved him, playfully. Remus ducked, and knocked Sirius from the side. The two grappled in the middle of the dungeon's corridor, oblivious to the numerous exams being held.

As Remus attempted to get Sirius in a headlock, the taller boy knocked Remus' feet out from under him and sat on his chest.

"Hmm, would appear that you've lost, Moony." Sirius remarked.

He'd expected Remus to be indignant, not grinning. "Why would you say that, Padfoot?"

Sirius smirked. "Well, look here. You're on the ground, flat on your back, and I'm sitting on you. You're not going anywhere."

Remus' eyes twinkled mischievously. "Precisely. And neither are you."

With that, Remus leaned up and kissed Sirius on the lips.

"No, I'm not going anywhere..." Sirius whispered into his lover's neck. "Except if it's to your bed."
