Sometimes, life likes to do something especially horrible o mess with someone's fate. Poor Canada had learned this the hard way. It seemed he was cursed from birth…

Everyone forgot about him. No matter how hard he tried, they would look right through him. He would melt into the background, never to be seen. He wanted desperately to appear from the shield that encircled him and be heard.

It was a futile dream, as he would always keep her invisibility. What would become of him? What if he died? Would he dissolve into mist? He was afraid of disappearing. He didn't want to be a forgotten memory, faded into black.

While life likes to mess up a person's fate, it also shows mercy, a moment of solace. On the rare occasions this happened, Canada was seen. He would begin to make friends, but then he would fade away, melting from everyone's mind as if he was a dream.

Even so, he learned to accept that, to everyone else, he was a spirit, a figure of their imagination. He would never be truly heard. He was alone.

He was completely evanescent.
