AN: Merry Christmas to Bones! A friend on Twitter, the fabulous artist april30lin, created a banner for this that is amazing. I can't add it here, of course, but if you want to see it, send me an email or a note on Twitter and I'll link you. It is beyond adorable.
Many thanks to Caprigirl60 for acting as beta for this!
Thanks for reading!

'Twas the night before Christmas
And through the Mighty Hut
No one was sleeping
Not man, mouse or mutt
The striped socks were hung
On the mantle with care
A tree stood in the corner
With lights twinkling there
On the counter were cookies
In the fridge was eggnog
In the fireplace burned
The traditional Yule log
Paper and ribbons
Were spread out on the floor
The last gifts almost wrapped
Ere lo! A knock at the door
Booth looked at Brennan
Who could that be?
Who could be visiting
On this Christmas Eve?
Just then from outside
Came such noise and laughter
They rushed to the window
To see what caused the clatter
Close together they stood
The group that assembled
A'caroling they'd come
But in the cold they trembled
Booth opened the door
Please come in, one and all!
Have some eggnog and cookies
We'd have more if you'd called
In they came one by one
And from each came a smile
Their family of friends
Come to spend a wee while
We're here to sing, said Max
And wish you great cheer
On this special night
Christine's first holiday year
Caroline began
With "O Holy Night"
Sweets added his own
Something merry and bright
For each song that was sung
Brennan knew the tradition
She regaled them with history
For each new edition
There were songs about angels
And sleds in the snow
Even Booth sang along
Until loudly told, "No!"
Sang Fisher and Finn
Arastoo, Wendell and Cam
Clark and Daisy joined, too
After Billy's rock jam
While Angela sang
From Jack's arms Michael waved
Only Parker was missing
For in England he stayed
Ere the carols were caroled
And the cookies were crumbs
The group waved goodbye
And went out as they'd come
In the doorway they stood
Booth, Brennan and baby
Giving thanks for the treat
"You all were amazing!"
One last thing to say
To end this poem right
Merry Christmas to Bones
And to all a good night
