Veronica knew this was wrong. It was wrong to use a love potion on any person. It brought up questions of consent. She was tired of dating guys that bore her just because they wanted her. She wanted to be with the guy that sent her heart racing and made her palms sweaty.

She had loved Logan for so long, and she was desperate. And desperate times called for desperate measures, right?

Logan knew he could go to jail for even buying a love potion, but he was sick of watching the girl of his dreams with all of the wrong guys. He was sick of watching her get walked all over. He was sick of not being the one she chose.

Maybe it was like taking away her free will, but at least he knew he'd treat her like she deserved. He'd always treasure her and never take her for granted. He'd love her until he died, and then he'd continue loving her even after his death.

That was what mattered, right?

xXx

Neither of them was aware of the other person's feelings. They both bought love potions, and they both keyed their potion to the one their heart desired, not realizing they didn't need it in order to find happiness and love.

If they only talked to each other, they could have saved themselves a lot of time and a lot of money.

The morning after a night of enthusiastic sex, Veronica groggily opened her eyes and sleepily smiled at the pleasant soreness she felt. She looked at Logan's relaxed face, the man still fast asleep.

And guilt overwhelmed her. What she did could basically constitute as rape, couldn't it? He didn't give his consent without being under the influence of a potion. It might as well have been a date rape drug she used on him.

What had she done?

Logan slowly came awake, and the first thing he saw was Veronica's fearful face. He blinked and sat up. "Veronica, I'm so sorry," he rushed out, believing the potion was no longer having an effect on her, and it really brought home how wrong he had been to drug her with it.

She would never forgive him, and she shouldn't. He didn't deserve any sort of forgiveness.

She blinked. "Why are you sorry? I'm the one that doused you with a love potion."

He stared at her. "You doused me? I doused you?"

She slowly smiled. "So, we doused each other?"

Logan chuckled, feeling relieved. "I guess there had been no reason for the potions, huh?"

Veronica nodded. "I guess not."
