Gregor was bored. Like, really bored. Number one: he was in the cramped car on the ride to New York from Virginia. Number two: he was going to see Luxa. He couldn't wait! Boots was in her car seat, asleep. Lizzie was working on a word puzzle. His parents were in the front, talking about where they'd go without the kids. Gregor, Boots, and Lizzie were dying to go to the Underland for Spring Break, so their mother and father finally agreed. When they got to Central Park, his parents kissed them all goodbye and reminded them to be safe. Together they opened the passage, and the three children made their descent into the damp tunnel. Soon they reached Regalia, where they met a few bats. One looked painfully like Ares. The bats flew them to the palace in silence. Luxa was waiting outside. When she saw Gregor her face lit up. She ran into his arms and their lips sealed in a passionate kiss, making up for all the lost time.
"Eeeewwww!" Lizzie, Boots, Howard, and Hazard chorused. "Oh, be quiet," Luxa complained, though she was smiling. "Howard, Hazard, hi!" Gregor grabbed them in a manly hug.
He glanced at Luxa again, and noticed her hair was long and lighter than ever. It was almost as pale as her Underland skin! They went into the castle, where Luxa, the queen, showed them where the family of three would be staying. Luxa, Howard, and Hazard left them to get situated. Lizzie gave Boots a bath and soon they left for dinner. For the most part, it was peaceful. Although Boots was so tired her face fell into her bowl one in a while. Everyone had gone to bed, or just about, leaving Luxa and Gregor alone. "I missed you", she whispered softy. "I did too," he reassured her. "What are we going to do, now that you are here?" Luxa wondered aloud. "I don't know, kill a few rats, save the Underland, do what we always do?" "Be serious, Gregor!" "I am!" They both smiled and soon fell asleep, their hands intertwined.
A/N: This is my first fanfic, so bear with me. Sorry its so short, but it'll get longer as the story progress. Thanks for reading, and review if you are so inclined!
