The near empty precinct was the sign of night time. The rain pounded outside as everyone made their way home. All except Kate and Rick. He stopped talking, she removed her finger as she moved closer to him. Now there faces just an inch apart. There breath mingled in the small space between each other. She closed her eyes, he watched intently. She let out a soft slow breath as she whispered " I trust you" That's all he need to hear before he brought his lips to hers in a slow sweet passionate kiss. As the pace picked up and there tongues danced in harmony she let out a soft sound that gave him all the reassurance he needed. When the need for breath took over they reluctantly broke apart. He smiled she smiled. " Dinner my lady?" " I would Love that" they linked arms as they walked to the elevator " Remys?" "perfect"
