A/N: Sorry! I had to write a sad one. Was listening to the MP3, and I thought, 'Hey! That would work for a fic!' So I got up at 5 AM on a SUNDAY to write it. Be grateful!

It's been 7 hours and 15 days / Since you took your love away

Buffy lay stomach-down on her bed, listening to the radio. They were playing some kind of love song special, and this song tore her heart out. It was so true…

I go out every night / And sleep all day / Since you took your love away / Since you been gone I can do whatever I want / I can see whomever I choose / I can eat my dinner in a fancy restaurant / But nothin' / I said nothing can take away this blue

Buffy knew it was pathetic to sit here and moan about the past, but she couldn't help it. Her life was in pieces after Angel left. How could he go? Even if he claimed it was best for her? Didn't he love her enough to stay, besides the wrong? Because it felt right.

Cause nothing compares / Nothing compares / To you

Angel sat in the chair, leaning back slightly, listening to the radio station that Cordelia insisted to listen to while at work. After she had left for the day, Angel had turned it on, and the song playing had caught his attention. He was brooding again. But how could you not regret a decision like leaving your true love behind?

It's been so alone without you here / Like a bird / Without a song / Nothing can stop these lonely tears from falling / Tell me baby / Where did I go wrong

Even now, especially at times like these, Angel wondered about his decision to leave her. It was best, though. And it was selfish of him to think that there was another way around it.

I put my arms around every boy I see / But they only remind me of you

Riley was just a way to forget. It didn't help. In fact, he made things worse. Buffy sighed. She knew that she had to end the pointless relationship. Buffy didn't want to hurt him; she just wanted her Angel back.

I went to the doctor and guess what he told me / Guess what he told me / He said 'Girl, you better try to have fun don't matter what you do' / But he's a fool / REPEAT CHORUS / All the flowers that you planted / By me / In the backyard / All died and withered away / I know that living with you baby / Was sometimes hard / But I'm willing to give it another try

Buffy turned off the radio, and looked at the phone. Maybe, Angel was listening to the same station, and he was having regrets about the past too. Buffy rolled her eyes. Angel never regretted anything he did. She pulled herself off the bed, and left the room. There was slaying to be done.

Angel looked at his phone, turning off his radio. Before he could convince himself not to, he called her. No one picked up. Before the answering machine had a chance to beep, Angel whispered one phrase into the phone. And hung up. He left the office; there were more important things to do than mope and brood. "I love you." The cursed vampire said again into the night, and the words seemed to rise on the wind.
