prologue
It's odd, isn't it? It's odd that unlike the stories you read online about the nerdy girl who's always hit on by the cocky jock that everyone but her likes, I'm sitting here with my books scattered across the floor. With a blonde skank laughing with her blunette best friend and her raven-haired casual hook up.
I didn't care for eye contact when unnecessary, hence why I stared at the ground and didn't move from the cold tile floor of the hallway. I held in the occasional desire to break down and sob as their laughter turned into taunts.
"Aw, Natsu. . ." the blonde whore teased me, bending down and pulling my chin upward. She kept her butt in the air, allowing her skirt to expose her lacy underwear. "Pick up your books." She spat. "Before someone rips up all your notes."
As if it were his queue, the raven haired boy behind her snickered as he picked up my history book and ripped three pages packed with notes. He threw it over his shoulder to one of the observing student's feet. "Should I rip up another one, Lucy?" He winked at the blonde, then at me.
With a giggle, Lucy shook her head. "No, Gray." she retorted. "I think Natsu's learned his lesson. Take Levy to class, you shouldn't be late."
Gray took the blunette to their second class of the school day.
Lucy bent her knees and kept her face an inch from mine as she gripped my chin between her thumb and finger. "Natsu, sweetie," she taunted. "Perhaps this will be a reminder of why you shouldn't talk back." she pushed me backwards so I was on my ass, leaning back against my hands. "Next time I hear you snap at me, I'll ruin you."
this is the prologue for an au idea I came up with. it won't be regularly updated, though, unless I can get some really positive reviews. I have my other nalu au that I'm working on and I barely have the time to update that because of school and job hunting.
however, as I said, if I get enough positive feedback for this idea, I'll be sure to update as often as possible.
