The Day after

Silence is all there can be heard in the dark room. An empty body lies peacefully on the table; repaired and smooth. The damage that was done to it yesterday is no where in sight… She did a good job even though it took her longer then she expected.
In the darkness of the room, a black fembot sits against the wall across the table. Her chin rests against her chest, her legs pulled up and her arms lying across her knees. The expression over her metallic face is grim and tired. All she wants now is complete silence to think about yesterday.
It was hard to work on him, to get rid of all the damage. Too many memories… she admired him for what he was and for what he struggled. She knew how he felt about certain things and it didn't even occur to her that she loved him until it was too late. She made it clear to him, just a nano click before he went offline for ever.
He died with honor, which was the most important thing for him to die for. He saved humanity, the future of this planet and sacrificed himself for it. Wasn't there a way to spare him?
She sighs softly and tilts her head slightly up, her yellow optics glowing up in the darkness.
Of course not. He knew his time had come and he had to stop Megatron from killing the humans in that valley. But why alone? Why didn't he wait for the others? Why didn't he wait for her?
The scratching of her nails over her knees slowly starts to fill the room and her optics narrow as more questions start to overwhelm her system. It's like a tidal wave which crashes against the shore and it starts to become too much for her.
It's just like in the past… Every time she finds someone she is interested in and she finally finds the guts to tell him… He dies or disappears. Everyone she loves seems to die on her. Is it such a big responsibility to take care of your beloved ones?
She folds her hands together and lets them rest against her forehead as she tries to keep away the flashbacks of the things which happened when she was younger. Awful memories and there is no end to it.
"Er… Pan?"
Her optics snap open when she hears a familiar voice in the distance and she looks up towards the doorway to see someone standing there. She was so deep in thought that she didn't even hear someone open the door. She sits up more, lowering her hands and with a soft voice she asks:" yeah…?"
"Are ya doin' alright? Ya have spent almost a whole night in this room."
She stares towards the small Transmetal Maximal who has a hint of concern over his face and she nods slightly. He makes a nervous impression and with obvious hesitation he enters the room; the door closing behind him. His gaze flashes over towards the body on the table, but only for a nano click, before returning it back towards the fembot.
"The whole night…?"
He nods when he hears her question and says:" Uh yeah. Optimus started to become worried about ya. Afraid ya broke down or somethin'. Ya know… After all that happened and such. I wouldn't be surprised if I would have found ya in a state like that."
"I understand…"
A silence which you can cut with a knife falls back in the room and he stares down at her, not really knowing what to say. Most of the times he always has a sort of counter attack when it comes to word and speech… but now…
He looks over his shoulder towards the table and makes a sound like he is clearing his throat. The fembot doesn't even take the energy to respond and the Maximal says with a tremble in his voice:" Ya did a great job on him..."
She finally looks up to him and sees his not looking at the body or at her. It must have been hard for him to even enter this room. She quickly tries to settle down her thoughts and lowers a hand to the floor to pat down on it.
"Come and sit with me…"
