Second Year, annoying teachers and German class
Hey, y'all! This is just a really short one-shot based on a conversation I had in German last week.
I'm not Jenny Nimmo. Wish I was, but I'm not. Would I be in second year if I was?

"Does anyone even know what this guy's called?" Charlie Bone whispered to Fidelio Gunn, his best friend.
"Nope."
"Right, class," shouted the unnamed teacher (A/N: and he's going to stay unnamed, 'cause I don't want to die tomorrow morning) "I don't need to ask if anyone here is taking German next year, because I know you all are."
"Yeah, Charlie," whispered Gabriel Silk, sitting behind him. The dark haired boy shrank down into his seat.
"So, as of now, I expect you to work hard if you want to progress."
"What if we don't need to progress?"
"If you don't really try for the rest of this year, you're going to fail next year."
"Ha! Take that Fido!"
"They're quite a good band, actually," commented Emma Tolly from the row in front.
"What?"
"Take That. They're a good band."
"Are you sure that's the only reason you've suddenly become a Take That fan?" asked Charlie, glancing over at Tancred. Emma went bright pink.
"Hey, Emma. You okay?" asked the storm boy, looking worried.
"Oh, um, yeah, I'm fine."
"Seriously, do you two mind flirting somewhere else. In your own time, not mine," said the teacher, who'd been silent for the past minute.
"Sorry, sir."
Dagbert Endless leaned forward from where he was sitting, next to Gabriel. "Really, can't those two just go out and be done with it?"
"Obviously not," muttered Gabriel.
"Endless, Silk, Gunn, Bone! Can you four shut up?" shouted their teacher. "Detention."
"Aw, c'mon!"
"Charlie Bone, don't think I'm letting you off just because your father owns the school. In fact," he said, turning back to face the class, "is there anyone here who hasn't put German down on their subject choice form?"
"Oh, you are so screwed!"whispered three boys to their terrified friend.

"I can't believe it! TRIPLE DETENTION? I mean, what is with that guy?"
"Bone, no shouting in the hall. Detention!" cried a passing prefect.
"YOU HAVE GOT TO BE KIDDING! IT'S ONLY MONDAY!"

Thanks for reading all the way through this. Also, thanks to Gav and Stu (not full names) for listening to my random comments all through class.
It's that time again! Review! Please?
