Liar!
Just a couple of thing…
Hermione is Voldemort's daughter.
Hermione is engaged to Draco Malfoy.
Hermione is utterly smitten with Draco Malfoy and vise versa.
Disclaimer: If you recognize it…. I so don't own it….
Hermione Riddle had a perfect life, sure her Father and best friend were sworn enemies and spent most of their spare time planning the others demise but hey! Other then that, her life was perfect. Almost.
Hermione woke only to look about her in utter confusion. Since when had her room been purple? Sure she loved the colour, but not too this extent. And her room had not been this colour when she had gone to bed last night. Something clicked. Last night. Why was it…? Oh hell no!
Battle sounds rang through the room. Dammit! Dad had promised no more fighting! Harry had promised not to fight! Draco had promised not to get involved! They had lied.
Now Hermione is not someone you want to anger on the best of days. She was now furious. The door flew open under the pressure as Hermione took out her frustration on it.
Hermione marched towards where the final battle was being waged. As she passed the smaller knots of fighting, it tapered off until only one war was going on.
Harry and Voldemort.
Hermione's rage doubled. "THIS WILL STOP." It was an order that was obeyed. " Hermione, love, what…?"
" Do not 'Hermione love' me! You lied! You promised to not fight! You swore!" Hermione started to cry but her voice rose to carry over the whole field.
" And you" she carried on pointing to Harry, " you also swore not to continue fighting! And you lied as well!" Harry's heart broke as he realized how badly this was affecting Hermione.
" And don't even get me started on you lot!" she rounded on Dumbledore's Army," we all promised to watch each other's backs! And I did! To the point I didn't watch mine close enough! As soon as I told you, you acted as if I didn't exist!" Hermione let out all her feelings, one's she had be having since their betrayal.
Hermione turn to one last person. " And YOU!" her anger went, leaving her empty and raw. " You promised not to get involved." She whispered. She looked down at her engagement ring. She slipped it off and laid it gently on the ground. Taking the moment to compose herself so when she stood up, her eyes were cold, " Your all as bad as each other."
And walked out.
Every eye followed her departure, except for a pair, gray as steel, that where locked onto the ring, lying on the floor. He walked over, picked up the ring and cracked. Draco Malfoy sank to the ground as he realized what his actions had cost him. Those around him came to their senses. They realized that what they had been doing was pointless. But it was too late; they had lost what both sides considered to be their Princess.
Miles away, Hermione patted her still flat stomach and wondered how she was going to live without him.
