Vice City, USA (50 miles southeast of Florida)

May 14, 1993

7:45 P.M.

Tony could hear the sirens in the distance behind him. In, fact he could hear them everywhere. What was supposed to be a simple job escalated into a police hunt. Tony Caruso was supposed to steal a red JCP-600 outside the Pole Position Strip Joint, ride to the nearest Ammu-Nation and buy supplies on Jimmy's account, meet Max at the Malibu, get the codes, and, finally, meet Jimmy at the Vice City Port Authority Building outside the airport.

Everything went well until he came out from the Malibu, (the JCP's owner was one of those bastards who had a large influence on the cops), when the cops tried to apprehend him. Of course, he had to finish this job (Jimmy offered him a million dollars for the job), so he jumped on the motorcycle and rode off, dodging the cops. Every time he tried to get to the airport he'd find a roadblock in the distance and try a different way. He eventually ran out of ammo and had to call up his friends to help him out. They did help him, without question, bringing him whatever he needed. Ammo, food, news updates, they even scouted out where the cops were waiting for him. Thanks to David, Alice, and Patricia, he was able to dodge and find a way to the airport.

He had to destroy the VCPD (Vice City Police Department) helicopter with a rocket launcher because they would always find him no matter where he hid. At least the people on it got off before it blew. He was a transporter, not a murder. Not Tommy Vercetti. He remembered back in '86, when he was a sophomore in Vice City High, the day Tommy Vercetti went on his carnage ride. He reached the highest warrant level in Vice City: four stars. The sad thing is that he died in prison, not by attack, not by sentence, he just died.

Wonder how many stars I've reached Tony thought as he now drove south on Alameda Ave. toward the airport.

He turned on the radio on the Faggio's radio control. (Tony had to ditch the JCP and five other cars on his trip.) The station was on Wildstyle. Tony grimaced and changed the station to V-Rock. A song just finished and the DJ, Lazlow, came back on the air.

"That was Queen with "We Will Rock You" ending the V-Rock Vulture Double Slash, brought to you by…Kaufman's Cabs. Anyway, that song was dedicated by the V-Rock studio to Tony Caruso, who's out there kicking some cop ass. For those who don't know, Tony has been evading VCPD since…12:15 this afternoon. He has led VCPD through the entire islands of Vice City. Wait…This just in. Caruso's warrant level has been moved to-"

Tony clicked off the radio as he looked and saw Jimmy's car parked in front of the Port Authority building. He pushed on the motorcycle's gas and accelerated toward the building.
