And Boss was destroying the world as usual when she remembered that she had a job. So she went back to her café and fired Nearly.
"Oh, but Boss!" said Nearly indignantly.
"Oh shut up Nearly. I don't even know what you even do here, you're useless. In short, YOU'RE FIRED!" screamed Boss.
"Ah, but Boss. You can't, he does stuff for me," said Cook.
"What does he do?"
"Fine you got me he is useless," said Cook. Nearly pleaded for his job, but to no avail. Boss picked up Nearly and dropped him outside.
The next day, Nearly was still sitting there. When Wolf passed him on the way in, he said,
"I am sorry, lad, but times are hard. We can't all have our cushy diner jobs. Be thankful that you had it in the first place!" Beyond this, Wolf, of course, did absolutely nothing to comfort him.
Soon, Boss came out and said,
"Go away! You're scaring the customers!"
"Hrmmph!" said Nearly as he crossed his arms.
"Grrrr! FINE! Stay if you must but remember you're NEVER and I mean NEVER getting your job back and that is final!" She storms inside before she gets too angry.
"She doesn't do anything but fire people," Nearly grumbles to himself. "I'll get my revenge!" said Nearly, but then Boss kicked him into the street and went back inside. Nearly then grumbled and walked off.
