Summary: McGee's wide awake. His companion is not. Pure fluff.
A/N: So, this is basically for Samm. Nothing more, nothing less. It's McAbby fluff for Samm. If you can, listen to the song quoted while reading, Here (In Your Arms) by HelloGoodbye.
All mistakes you can blame on me rushing and having no patience to edit.

The clock on the nightstand glared a bright green, telling the inhabitants of the room it was now three minutes after two AM. A light from a laptop charger lit up the ceiling in the middle of the room. The street light from outside shone in from the window, creating a perfect square on the bed.
In that square of light, Timothy McGee lay wide-awake. His eyes were glued on the wall across from him. He could barely make out the shape of a door, and a poster. Even though it was his own bedroom, he wasn't sure the content of the poster. However, at the moment, his brain had other things to focus on.
A piece of hair was tickling his collarbone. Looking down, he saw the offending hair and gently moved it away from his skin. That act led him to rediscover the person with whom he was sharing a bed. He almost forgot that there was another person in his bed.
He almost forgot about the woman who inhabited his arms.
In the light of the window, he could make out the shape of her body. He knew that under the blankets, there was a tattered MIT shirt and a pair of boy shorts. Under those garments was a body covered in tattoos.
He moved the blanket over her shoulders, tucking her into the blankets. She moved a tad in her sleep, snuggling into his embrace more.
Tim thought his heart was going to burst.
From the way her body lay (her legs tangled with his, her stomach pressed against his side, and her arms wrapped around his torso) to the calmness of her face, he knew she was deep in sleep. He also knew that she was comfortable. She hadn't moved an inch since she'd fallen asleep. Her hands had flexed, and her head had burrowed more into his neck, but other than that, she had been still.
And, as he thought more about their position, he was extremely comfortable himself.
He smiled to himself for a brief moment before bending his head and kissing the top of his companions. She stirred slightly, and suddenly her eyes opened.
"Go to sleep Tim. I can feel you staring at me. My hair's about to catch on fire," she mumbled, and Tim laughed quietly.
"Sorry, you just look so comfortable," he whispered back. He felt her lips make contact with his skin.
"I am. There is no place on Earth more comfortable than right here. Now, shush."
Tim smiled down at Abby's black hair, tightening his arms around her waist.
Everything he wanted to say would have to wait until morning.
A/N: There we go. Pure fluff. A drabble of fluff. I feel complete.
