This is for Robin, from the girl that opened his once shadowed eyes, destroyed that mask shielding his once broken identity.
I love the bird of the day, the sweet tune in my ears. The eyes that glisten and shine through my window early morning.
-Loving forever, Raven.
He fell in the pit of nowhere.
Alone, waiting for death.
I figured he needed someone,
An angel, a spirit;
For he would have no way out
no whisper, not even a call.
I knew he'd feel hate, agony, pain
but then and there, I'd try to show him
the light, the warm passion
it was called "Love"
I knew that the only way to cure this
"Sickness" was to give him love,
friendship, an angel.
I hoped I wasn't, to late…
I needed him to feel love again,
or experience that new emotion for the first time.
I've tried and tried,
I'm pulling him, into my arms,
letting him fly, all over again,
but he keeps falling and falling,
I figured, I wasn't going to
give in.
Never
Boy I said, come with me.
Follow the heart.
I grasped his vision with me
you see, I said, look there.
Friends, they love you, they will
pick you up once you've fallen,
when life feels no longer a purpose in your wet eyes.
They are pride and joy, you see these
are angels, friends, "Love"
don't forget what I'm saying, boy.. love,
now, you'll love forever, and most of all
Don't give up, when it's smiling you right in the face.
