A/N Imagine the characters can cross the town line without losing their memories.

"Emma, you can't. Henry needs you, I need you." I said.

"Regina, I have to. It's the only way to save everyone." she said.

She hugged me and stepped over the line, looked at me and started walking away.

She's gone.

She wanted to save us all.

But she didn't know, that her absence will drive me insane.

I quickly took out my phone and dialed Snow.

"Snow, I need you to watch Henry. Whatever happens, take care of him, okay?" I said.

"Yeah. Of course." she replied, sniffling.

"Thanks." I said and hung up.

I took a deep breath and did what I never thought I would, I ran over the line.

I went through and stopped, taking in what I just did.

After coming to terms with it, I looked up and saw Emma in the distance.

I started running.

"Emma!" I yelled.

She turned and I kept running.

"Why did you follow me?" she asked once I caught up to her.

"Because we're gonna face this together." I replied, grabbing her hand.

"What about Henry?" she asked.

"He's with your parents, don't worry," I said, with a smile.

She smiled and hugged me.

"Now let's go, we have to be as far away from Storybrooke as we can," I said, pulling away and starting to walk.

Emma followed and grabbed my hand.

I looked at her and smiled.

She smiled back.

"You know I'm kinda glad you followed me, I think it would have gotten lonely," she said.

"You think?" I asked.

"I'm fairly certain," she replied.

I smiled and leaned my head on her shoulder.

"Know, that if you're ever in trouble, I'll be there in a heartbeat. Okay?" I asked.

"Of course, same for me." she replied.

We kept walking and a few hours later, as dark approached, I realized I had to tell her how I felt.

"I think we should stop for the night." she said.

"Good idea." I agreed.

I created two sleeping bags on the side of the road with a few blankets.

She smiled and thanked me.

We sat and watched the stars.

"Emma, I have to tell you something." I said, looking over at her.

"Sure. What's up?" she asked.

I grabbed her face and kissed her.

I pulled away and she just stared at me.

The only person I've loved since Daniel, doesn't feel the same way.

I got up.

"I-I uh, I have to go." I said, heading back in the direction of Storybrooke.

I heard Emma get up and come after me, and felt her grab my arm.

"Stay." she said, pulling me to kiss her.

We pulled away and looked at each other.

"I think I love you." I whispered.

"Good, 'cause I think I love you too." She whispered and kissed me again.
