"Summer Rain"(lyrics removed per the comment of a reviewer)...
Jane Austen's nephew tells us that Mary Bennet was destined to marry
Mr Phillip's clerk in Meryton. What he didn't know is the remarkable Musical Miracle
that occurred that changed Mary's life for the good…and the justice metered out to two
pernicious individuals.
Mary Bennet was enjoying her time in London with Georgianna Darcy, Elizabeth Darcy, and Fitzwilliam Darcy. The reading. The music lessons from Music Master Antonio Vivaldi and Life Lesson Coach Marco Poch(from the 21stcentury). Fitzwilliam Darcy had been very skeptical about a "Life Lesson Coach" but Elizabeth Darcy talked him into it eventually. Let us join the end of special lesson….
Marco: "Say Summer Rain, Mary". Mary: "Ok, summer rain." Flat, lifeless.
Marco: "Summmmmer Raaain with feeling and sing song voice, Mary." Mary looks more than a bit confused, especially since she had given up singing in public. But wanting to justify all the Darcy's efforts on her behalf….
Mary: "Summmmmer Raaain" Sweet and clean. Like HW. All look at Mary in wonderment. Georgianna's smile could warm several icy winters.
Marco: "Again!".
Mary: "Summmmmer Raaain" x3. And Hertfordshire's newest and most amazed Nightingale is of and singing. Spreading joy thru out the land. Mary B's concerts and music lessons would help so many wallflowers to bloom. Mary's husband, being a kind and gentle soul, fully supported and ably assisted Mary's efforts.
Meanwhile in another part of London….
Mrs Hurst and Caroline Bingley were attempting to wile away another dull day. Music would usually help them. But….their years of lessons had been washed away. They sounded worse than Mary at the Netherfield Ball. Dogs howled and horses whined! HA! Misters Vivaldi and Poch grinned, shook hands, and went back to their respective time periods.
Somewhat later Lizzy Darcy and Jane Bingley had a private moment with Mary….
Jane…somewhat nervously…."So, Mary…you heard about Mrs Hurst and Caroline?"
Mary: "Yes, yes. Fear not dearest sisters. I do assure you there hasn't been any devil dealing here on my part. I won't do that…although those two were certainly deserving consisting how they treated all of us. Heaven works in mysterious ways! Bennet Sisters 75…Bingley Sisters 0!"
Jane and Lizzy: "Ahem!". Group hug!
