Somewhere in East Blue
It was a rather peaceful day at the seas of East Blue. The sea was calm while the Sun was shining, making it a nice day to sail. In the sky seagulls were lazily flying, signaling that a island was near. Sadly that was not noticed by the two people on a small boat that was slowly moving on the waters.
The first person was a young looking boy who appeared to be around 18-19. He had light dark hair that reached his shoulders with dark brown eyes. This boy was wearing a simple black blazer over a white shirt with a bloody red tie, a simple pair of grey jeans and also a pair of fingerless gloves in his hands.
The other person inside the small both was also a young man, although slightly older looking than Yu but not by much and wearing a pair of glasses. Much like his companion he was nicely dressed, wearing a white shirt with a brown waistcoat over it and a red tie nicely tied. On his shoulder was also what happerd to be a black mantle with a very vibrat blue color on the inside part of it. To finish it's look we weared a pair of black trousers and gloves of the same color on his hands.
These two were Yu and Oswald, two simple sailors who were searching for their next adventure. Exept there was a small problem.
Yu: Booooooooring! When will we reach Orange Town Oz?!
Whined a rather bored Yu looking at his friends.
Oswald: This is the 5th time you asked that question in the space of 2 minutes Yu, and the answer is still the same: I HAVE NO FUCKING CLUE!"
Yelled Oswald, or Oz as Yu calls him, as he was getting annoyed with his friends antics. He was usually a rather more patient person, but Yu just had a gift on how to get on people's nerves.
Yu: Well, maybe if we follow the wind breeze, ask the seagulls and (pointes to the distance) followed that smoke, that could have been made from a explosion, then we could maybe have some sort of navigation.
Oz was about to ignore him once again but then followed his finger and his eyes became wide as plates. True to Yu's words, there was some smoke rising in the distance that could have been from an island.
Oswald: Why didn't you tell me that before?!
Asked Oz as he, through sheer will, managed to stop himself from shooting Yu.
Yu: You didn't ask~
Answered Yu with a smug look on his face, knowing that he managed to troll his friend. Oz looked at him with a pure blank face. He knew that he can't use his device right now, but there is one thing he can. Sending a mental prayer to God for comitting the sin of breaking the Bro Code in the most horrible way possible, by kicking Yu in the nuts.
Yu gained a face of pure pain as he released a high pitched scream.
Yu: B-B-B-Bastard.
Whimpered Yu.
Oswald: Serves you right for trying to play smart guy with me.
Said Oz as he took the oars from the small boat and began to row towards the smoke.
Oswald: Hey Yu. How big are the chances that the smoke is either Luffy's or Buggy's doing?
Yu simply groaned in response, still suffering from the hard kick in the sacred place. Oz couldn't help but sweatdrop at the sight of his partner cursing him under his breath.
After a few minutes of rowing , they finnaly arrived at the island. Both managed to identify it as Orange Town, the place they were hoping to arrive in time.
Yu: Looks like we arrived around the right time.
Said Yu as he looked at the cannon ball that was burried in the ground near the shore.
Yu: Seems like good old Big Nose used his Buggy Ball cannon.
Oswald: So we are just in time for the canon.
Deduced Oz as he began to walk into town.
Oswald: First, lets get something to refill our resources. Then we will try to find Luffy, Zoro and Nami. (smirk) I have a feeling you are more excited for the last one.
Oz teased Yu with a smirk directed at him, who blushed. He was about to give a snarky response, when they heard loud footsteps. Looking to their right they saw a huge man looking at them with a man riding it. Once the lion came close to the two, it stopped and just looked at them.
Mohji: Hm, what is wrong Richie?
The man on top of him asked as he looked at the two boys in front of him.
Mohji: Just two brats walking around. Eat them so we can continue with the search for the boy with the straw hat and the Pirate Hunter.
At his words, Yu and Oz looked at one another.
Yu: Guess we arrived just in time.
Said Yu as he looked at the lion.
Yu: Huh, he seems like a nice guy. The guy on top of him is just OK.
Hearing Yu's word's, Oz chuckled and smirked as he took a hold of the chain of his coffin looking device.
Oswald: What do you say we make a good first impression here?
Seeing Oz take a hold of his weapon, Yu smirked as his hands got covered in dark looking flame like substance with a few sparks of lighting of the same color flickering.
Yu: How about a good old Sonic Boom? I got the Sonic. ..
Said Yu as the lighting increased and he pulled his right hand back.
Oswald: And I got the Boom.
Finished Oz, as a the barrel appeared from the bottom of his device and he pointed his new "gun" at the confused Mohji.
What followed next was a giant explosion that made the entire island shake.
Somewhere else in Orange Town
*BOOOOOOOOOOM*
The explosion was heard from all across the island. It was especialy heard near the town's pet store where the major of the town was, together with his deceased friend's dog and three other people that we all know.
Luffy: What was that?
Asked Luffy innocently as he saw some smoke rising from a place near them.
Zoro: Guess that the clown decided to shoot another one of his cannons.
Answered Zoro as he leaned against the shop to relax a little. Sadly that didn't work as planned as something came flying and crashing against the front of the store.
Major: No way! That is the Beast Tamer Mohji!
Shouted the town's Major as he recognized the man and his pet lion in front of him. They both looked heavily burned and bruised as they stood there uncouncious.
Yu: I think we broke our record of "Sending a person far away with a combined blast"!
A happy voice was heard as the four humans and the dog looked down the road to see two people, one carrying a giant mechanical looking device on his back.
Oswald: I still can't believe we actually have a record like that. But, we really did broke it. What was the best we had before this one again?
Another voice said, this one sounding a bit more mature than the first one.
Yu: Probably the one with that guy that one time we tried that move from Iron Man 2.
The younger one said as they noticed they were a few steps away from the shop, with the people present there looking at them. There was a moment of silence as they stared at each other. Oz and Yu had different thoughts as they stared at the future Straw Hats.
Oswald: (thoughts) Oh! As expected. They look like they were potrayed in the anime, but more realistic. Those cosplays I saw didn't do justice to any of them.
Thought Oz as he placed a hand on his chin analysing three of the four people in front of him, impressed with how they looked now having met them in real life. Yu on the other hand...
Yu: (thoughts) That face! Those eyes, That DYNAMITE BODY! There is no doubt about it: nothing did Nami justice in the real world!"
Yu exploded with joy, focusing his attention on the only female of the group. It was at that moment that the two idiots of their groups decided to speak.
Yu and Luffy: So any one want to tell me who the lion and the reject were?/AWESOME! What is that thing?!"
Both Yu and Luffy said at the same time. They looked at one another and instantly gained a huge shit eating grins. Seeing those grins, both Oswald and Zoro gained a bad feeling. A very, VERY, bad feeling.
(Timeskip)
After a long explanation and introduction, Oz and Yu began their plan into entering the Straw Hats crew.
Oswald: So, the town is under the control some clown looking pirate?
At Oz's question, the major nodded.
Oswald: And if we drive him of, the people will return?"
Another nod as Oz stood up.
Oswald: Well, guess we can help you with that. Me and Yu will take care of him.
Said Oz as Luffy stood in his way.
Luffy: OI! Wait! I was about to go after the Red Nose!
Luffy protested. Oswald sighed, knowing that it will be a hard job in convincing him to give in. Luckily, Yu got out of his daze and gave a suggestion.
Yu: Then how about a race. The one that gets to Buggy first gets to fight him.
Suggested Yu as Luffy thought about it for a moment and then nodded his head with a big smile.
Luffy: Sure! I'm going to win and then kick the butt of the Red Nose guy.
Both he and Yu then took starting poses beside each other.
Luffy: On three we start! One!
Luffy yelled the first second.
Yu: Two!
Shouted Yu next, as the same lighting began to circle his body gaining curious looks from the expectators near them.
Yu and Luffy: THREE!
Both shouted as they took of running, leaving small craters where they were and a cloud of smoke as they ran towards Buggy's hideout's direction.
Nami: WHAT THE HELL ARE THEY?!
Shouted Nami in pure shock seeing their displays of strenght. Just who were those two? Where they even human at all?
Zoro: Huh, never expected the kid to have that much strenght.
Commented Zoro as he and Oz began to walk after them.
Major: Wait! Where are you two going?!
Shouted the major after the two older men.
Oswald: We are going to see them beat Buggy.
Said Oz with Zoro nodding at his words.
Zoro: By the way What is that thing?
Asked Zoro as he pointed to the device that Oswald seemed to carry with him all the time.
Oswald: Just fun gadget I came up with.
Oz simply answered with a grin.
Oswald: I'm not much of a swordsman myself, but those swords you have look really nice.
They began chatting as they walked after their friends, leaving Nami and the major behind.
Major: Tch! I can't belive I have to leave my problems to kids. Wait up, you two!
The major shouted as he began to run after them too.
Nami was left standing. While Oz looked rather normal in her eyes, Yu gave her a strange feeling. It was a mixed one that screamed both danger and safety. She felt unsure of his presence for now, but only time will tell.
Buggy's hideout
At Buggy's hideout, there was a huge commotion as his men were sent flying left and right with no signs of stopping. Buggy was not sure should be angry at the rubber brat or the fire/lighting brat.
They stormed the place and began an argument about who got first. Talking turned into shouting, and that turned into punching. Or rather, Luffy was punching while Yu was dodging.
Luffy: Im telling you, I got here first Sparky!
Shouted Luffy as he sent his signature Pistol at Yu, who dodged it and sent a blast of energy at Luffy, who also dodged, but allowed it to damage even more of the already damaged town.
Yu: And im telling you, I was here first! Get it through your thick skull Rubber Brain!
More punches and blasts were throwned and sent flying in every direction as Yu and Luffy kept discussing about who got there first. One of the blasts almost got Buggy, had he not separated head from his neck in order to avoid it.
Buggy: THAT WAS DANGEROUS YOU FUCKING IDIOTS!
Screamed the angry clown looking pirate, but they ignored him and kept fighting.
Zoro: What the hell are those two doing?
Out in the distance Zoro asked with a disapointed sigh and a guy that Buggy had not seen yet.
Buggy: THEY'RE MULTIPLYING!
Oswald: It was to be expected Zoro. Being as childish as they are, it was obvious that neither of them would like to give the victory to the other.
Oz gave an explanation as he looked at Zoro.
Buggy: Well, well. I guess you all have a lot of guts to try and face the great Captain Buggy!
Oswald: I guess I'll have to try something out. YU! LUFFY!
Zoro looked at him with curiosity as he called Yu and Luffy as they finally stopped fighting and looked at him. He placed his hand on his pocket and brought from it a coin.
Oswald: How about a coin toss to decide it? It's fair and no excuses are allowed from the loser.
Buggy: But now that you crossed me, don't expect any mercy. The only path for you now is death. Say your prayers shitty brats because today you d-
Yu and Luffy looked at each other.
Yu and Luffy: I WANT HEADS/TAILS!
Buggy: LISTEN TO ME WHEN I'M TALKING YOU BASTARDS!
They yelled and Oswald raised the coin up for them to see it and just as Nami and the Major got there.
Oswald: (shows a face of the coin) Heads, (shows the other) Tails.
With his thump he sended the coin flying up and caught it with his hand when it came back down, slamming it against the back of his other hand. Then he showed them the result.
Yu: HELL YEAH! It's heads so I win.
Luffy: DAMN IT!
Oswald: As promised, Yu here gets to fight the Big Nose over there.
Buggy: WHO THE HELL ARE YOU CALLING BIG NOSE?!
Yu: (points at Buggy) You, Big Nose.
Buggy: YOU'RE ALL DOING THIS ON PURPOSE AREN'T YOU?!
Yu cracked his neck as he looked at his opponent.
Yu: Shut the hell up Big Nose.
Nami: WOULD YOU STOP MAKING HIM ANGRY?!
The members of the crew took a step back seeing the angry face of their captain.
Buggy: Prepare the Buggy-Dama you bastards!
His crew members immeadiately lodded a red cannon ball and pointed it at the kids's direction.
Buggy: I was having mercy, BUT NO MORE! FIRE!
*BOOM*
As soon as the cannon was about to fire, it exploded, destroying the entire building that they were on. Yu gained a huge grin in his face.
Yu: Nice ...
Yu looked back to see his friend with his coffin looking device and it's gun barrel pointed at where the explosion occured.
Yu: Oz.
Oz just placed a finger in the middle of his glasses and pushed them slightly up, making them gain a sinister glow.
Oswald: I'm not fond of people with no manners. Go and kick his ass Yu, I'll make sure no one interferes.
Soon Buggy came out of the debries holding two of his men that he used as a shield, along with Mohji and a guy whose used his lion as a shield too.
Cabaji: This is humiliating Captain.
Buggy: Oh Cabaji.
Mohji: Cabaji you bastard! What did you do to Richie?!
Cabaji: This cat? I didn't want my clothes to get dirty so I used him as a shield.
Cabaji said simply as he letted go of the lion. Mohji isntantly got to his side and saw how scared he was and lunged at Cabaji who kicked him into Luffy and the others.
Oswald: You're on our way.
Grabbing the chains of the coffin, Oz swinged it at Mohji and sended him crashing against a wall.
Cabaji: Captain, allow me to take care of this.
Buggy: Alright, show them your acrobacies!
Meanwhile with the remaining of Buggy's men.
Crew member: Hey, haven't we seen those two somewhere?
Crew member 2: Who?
Crew member: The spark guy and the one holding the coffin!
The other crew member looked at them with narowed eyes.
Crew member 2: Now that you mentioned it, you're right. But where?
Meanwhile, Cabaji jumped into the air and got on a monocycle, pedaling to Yu's direction but getting stopped by Zoro who said he was going to be his opponent. It wasn't much of a fight with Cabaji only playing cheep tricks with Buggy but eventually getting cut down by Zoro. While all of this was happening, Nami decided to sneak into Buggy's base to steal his map and treasures.
Yu: (thought) Sneaky as I thought eheh!
Thought Yu with a big smile.
Oswald: Well I'm doing to start my lesson Yu, so go and make your show.
Said Oswald raising a fist towards.
Yu: Yeah. Make sure they learn something Oz.
Answered Yu, as he placed his fist against his friend's fist. Both separated from each other, letting Zoro rest from his fight and Nami to do her thing, and went towards their own fight.
Crew Member: Don't underestimate Buggy's pirates four eyes!
Oswald: Eheheh, Such a filfhy way to talk. Alright gentleman, let's begin our lesson.
Yu just grinned at Buggy.
Buggy: Your friend is about to die kid. Aren't you scared?
Yu: You talk too much Big Nose, Oz will be finished in no time. Meanwhile I'm gonna kick your ass!
*sparks*
Sparks and flames came from Yu's hands as he grinned even more.
Yu: Come at me bro.
A bunch of daggers appeared between Buggy's fingers.
Buggy: You're going to regret those words kid!
Said Buggy as he launched the daggers at Yu. With swift motion, Yu disappeared from sight, dodging the daggers.
Buggy: Where the hell is he?!
Buggy started to look around wanting to find Yu.
Yu: Over here.
Yu's now next to him and his fist was inches way from Buggy's face.
Buggy: Bara Bara Kinkyuu datsusu! (Parts Parts Emergency Escape)
But Buggy removed his head and neck from the rest of the body, barely escaping Yu's fist.
Yu: Fucking hell. He will keep diving himself during the whole fight won't he?
Buggy: Yahahahaha! Do you get it now Sparky Bastard? No matter what you do, you won't be able to leave a single scrach on Buggy-sama! Yahahaha!
Yu: I guess I'll just have to raise the numbers then.
Buggy: Numbers?
Yu bended his knees a bit and disappeared once again, appearing next to Buggy one more time.
Buggy: Idiot! I will just separate myself again, Bara Bara Kinkyuu datsusu!
His head came of once again, but this time he was hit in stomach by another Yu and sent flying.
Luffy: Yu multipled!
Said Luffy with his eyes almost falling of their sockets. Buggy got up and saw both Yu's grinning at him.
Buggy: What the hell is happening?
Both Yu's: Didn't I said it ...
Another Yu appeared from behind the two Yu's and got to their side.
Three Yu's: "I'll just have to raise the numbers".
Nami: Just what the hell is happening?! How is it possible to exist 3 Yu's now.
Oswald: That's a question I can respond with all the pleasure Nami-san.
Nami looked at Oswald to see him seated on top of his coffin with a bunch of uncouncious crew members from Buggy's pirates layed around him.
Nami: When did you ... ?
Oswald: There's not much of a secret to it actually. Yu is just so incredibly fast, that when he runs he leaves behind an afterimage of himself.
Nami: Then you mean-?
Oswald: Correct. Those are not clones, but rather afterimages created by Yu's incredible speed.
Buggy: AHHHHH! What the hell are you doing with my treasures you thief?!
Buggy separated the top half of his body from his lower half and flyed towards Nami.
*BAAM*
If it had not been for the Yu's kicking him in the place where it really hurts.
Buggy: My, my, my balls.
Whimpered Buggy has he combined together and placed his hands in his crotch hoping to relieve the pain.
Yu: WHAT THE HELL WERE YOU GOING TO DO TO DYNAMITE GIRL?!
Nami: D-Dynamite?
Oswald: (sigh) Please pay no mind to that.
Buggy got up still holding his croch in pain.
Buggy: Now you've done it Sparky. Let me show you the terror of a true pirate. Bara Baraaaa ...
Buggy's parts separated into many pieces.
Buggy: FESTIVAL!
All of the parts surrounded Nami who looked unimpressed at it.
Buggy: If you think you are strong then try to protect her Sparky!
Oswald: (thoughts) Well it was fun while it lasted.
*Baam*Baam*Boom*Baam
Before Buggy could react, all of his pieces where hit and sent flying into every direction.
Yu: Fucking clown. Didn't anyone in the circus told not to bother a lady? HUH?!
Buggy: (thoughts) He hitted all of my parts in a second. SHIT! This is bad, I need to fall back and re-think of a plan.
Buggy: Bara Bara Parts!
While trying to assemble himself together, Nami tied most of his pieces together with a rope, making him, well, mini Buggy.
Buggy: Hein?
Nami: Looking for these?
Nami said holding his parts with a rope.
Buggy: AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! MY PARTS!
Yu: HAHAHAHA! No wonder you are a thief!
Pulling his arm back, Yu enveloped his hand on fire and sended a blast in Buggy's direction.
Yu: LIGHTING CHARGE! DISOBEY!
The attack sended the clown pirate flying very far away from sight.
Crew Member 2: C-Captain Buggy was defeated!
Crew Member: I REMEMBERED IT!
Crew Member 2: Remembered what?
Crew Member: Those two!
He pointed at both Yu and Oswald
Crew Member: They are both pirates who recently got their first bounty at 15.000 Beries each!
Crew Member 2: The same as Captain Buggy?!
He looked at Yu.
Crew Member: The man that's as fast as a thunder and as intense as fire that no chains can bind.
Looks at Oswald.
Crew Member: And the charismatic villain who destroyed a group of Marine ships with only his wits and a coffin alone.
He gulped.
Crew Member: The "Count of Iron Will" Yu and "Professor Crime" Oswald!
They could all see the smiles on both of the pirates as well as a glow in their eyes and glasses.
Oswald: You're famous Yu.
Yu: Like you are one to talk. They better have a good picture of me in it.
Luffy and the others on the other hand were shocked.
Nami: (thoughts) I-Impossible! 30.000 Beries by just these two? Just how strong are they?
Out on the distance the towns people came to look for their Major who had been disappeared, worried that something may have happened to him. Once they got there and saw the group of new commers there.
Town Man: Who are you guys?
One of them asked and they all glared at them.
Nami: (thoughts) We need to be careful and not use the words "pirate" and "thief" here-
Yu and Luffy: We are Pirates.
Said Yu and Luffy. Nami lost all of her color as they just said that.
Town's people: WE KNEW IT!
Zoro: HAHAHAHA!
Zoro just started laughing at them. Nami on the other hand ...
Nami: YOU IDIOTS!
Luffy: But it's truth!
Whined Luffy.
Zoro: What now? They won't listen to a damn thing we say.
Oswald just smiled and picked him and his coffin up, with Yu on the other hand, taking this chance to pick Nami up and her treasures.
Yu, Oswald and Luffy: LET'S RUN!
The three of them started sprinting away with their companions and things in their arms. The town's people immediately started running after them screaming things like "Get back here" and "Don't let them escape".
Luffy: Over here!
Luffy made a sharp tuen to the left into a alley. Just as the crowd was about to turn and continue their chase, Xuxu, the dog from the pet store stood in their way barking and showing his teeth to them.
Luffy: SEE YOU LATER DOG!
Luffy said his goodbyes to his new friend. Yu and Oswald knew that with these guys around, they would never get bored. Once they got to the shore, they were greeted by 3 pirates Nami had stolen from. Poor creatures didn't know that she had some serious body guards now and took the beating of their lifes.
Up in the sea and away from danger, 3 small boats were floaring side by side with the Town's heroes in it.
Luffy: Oi Yu, Oz!
After a emotional goodbye with the Major, and Nami almost drowning Luffy for leaving her treasures behind, Luffy looked at last members of the group to arrive in town.
Yu and Oswald: Hmm?
Luffy showed them a toothy smile.
Luffy: Be my nakamas!
And there you have it people! The first chapter is done and we learned quiet a few things about our Dynamic Duo. They both have powers that, if you are familiar with the Fate Series, we all know and love. The powers will be explained later on.
This story would fall in the Semi Self Insert type, since I and my friend, NightingalePledge decided to do a story combined. Nightingale is Oswald or Oz, while I take the role of Yu. Those two are two sides of the same coin. Oz is the more calm one while Yu loves to mess with people. They are like Ted and Barney from How I met your Mother, exept with some changes.
Next chapter we will introduce the Straw Hats sniper and more about Oswald and Yu will be revealed. The updates will be quiet unsure since we both have to work on it, send each other what is so far writen and other stuff like that. Anyway, hope you stay with us for this crazy ride filled with emotions, laughter, tears, trolling, explosions, being FABULOUS and other shit like that.
