Chapter One: Itachi VS Kakashi
It had been a mission from Tsunade for Hatake Kakashi alone to perform; to find and capture the rogue ninja, Uchiha Itachi. He swiftly reached the main gates, his left eye covered by a forehead protector bearing the symbol of his home, Konohagakure. He was a fairly well-built shinobi, standing at a little over six feet, looking taller if you take his spiked, white hair into consideration. His dress was that of your standard Jonin; a green vest paired with pockets for six scrolls on the front, a pair of black pants, blue toeless shoes, and a pouch attached to the left side of the back of his waist.
It didn't take a lot of searching before he ran into two men covered from nose to toe in a large, black cloak with red clouds sewn on. One possessed red eyes that seemed to stare into your soul, three teardrop-shapes surrounding his main iris. He had black hair that flowed to the square of his back, though this was covered by the cloak he wore. On his right ring finger held a gold ring with a red gem, containing the kanji '朱雀'. The other man had a large, taped up sword diagonally attached to his back. The man had a light blue skin, and spiked up, dark blue hair. He had a mischievous grin on his face, showing his jagged, shark-like teeth. He spoke, his voice hoarse, yet containing a bit of sarcasm. "Well, if it isn't Copy Ninja Kakashi. What perfect timing…Samehada was getting hungry!" The other man raised one hand between his ally and Kakashi. "Hold, Kisame. There's something I wish to…figure out."
During this time, Kakashi moved his forehead protector so as to reveal his left eye. It was a deep crimson, with three teardrop shapes surrounding his iris. "Uchiha Itachi: the cause of the Uchiha massacre and Sasuke leaving the village in pursuit of power. On this day, you shall be my opponent." Kakashi stepped back, into a defensive stance.
Itachi sighed lightly before the teardrops began to expand in his eyes, forming a symbol similar to a three-bladed pinwheel with an enlarged circle in the middle. Before he could do anything, however, Kakashi performed a single, one-handed hand-sign. His left eye changed to a shape similar to that Itachi's had become, yet at the same time significantly different. As Kakashi 'felt' as if he was attached to a crucifix, Itachi felt an incredulous distortion surrounding him. Itachi tried to get away while keeping the illusion he had created, but it was too late; He was gone.
Note: Yes, it's short. But I'm planning on doing lengthier fights as the chapters progress.
