I don't own Fairy Tail
Gildarts stared at the mage, who was holding onto his daughters hand for dear life.
"Would you repeat that?" He asked, just to make sure he heard right.
"I'm in love with your daughter," the pink haired mage stated, taking a deep breath before continuing "I have been for some time now."
Gildarts had only wanted to surprise his daughter, by bringing breakfast to her on her birthday. He had walked into her house without knocking and he was the one who got surprised. Finding his daughter and the other mage in a rather compromising position. Even after the two had gotten dressed and they had all sat down to talk, he was still in shock.
"Cana is a wonderful person, Gildarts, and I can't see my life without her in it," the mage explained.
Gildarts stared wide eyed at the two of them.
"Dad I'm happy, please can you understand?" Cana spoke up "I was going to tell you, but I just didn't know how to bring it up."
Gildarts noticed that Cana seemed to be sober, or at least semi sober, which he hadn't seen in ages. "I guess I can support your decision, if it is really what makes you happy Cana," Guildarts sighed in resignation, "besides, I wouldn't mind another daughter."
Meredy and Cana smiled in relief, they had got through one hurdle, now they just had to tell their guilds.
AN: What do you think? Don't know if what I'm writing is ok or not unless you tell me.
