I saw this little quote thing on Facebook and I thought it was really quite cute, I've been meaning to write this one for a while but between my new job and exams and moving, it was kinda difficult, but here it is!
"Welcome back Kagome!" Shippo greeted as the said girl pulled herself out of the well with the help of Inuyasha.
"I hope you had a pleasant time." Miroku commented as he stood with his arms tucked in the sleeves of his purple and black robe.
"I hope your family is well." Sango smiled and Kagome returned the gesture.
"They are, thank you. Souta's doing well in school and his girlfriend is adorable, mama is the same, grandpa is still telling his ancient stories, nothing much has changed." Kagome laughed lightly, "But it was good to see them again."
"You better have brought my Raman, bitch." Inuyasha stated casually, crossing his arms and staring down at her.
"Sit!" Kagome yelled and glared coldly at the hanyou on the ground.
"What the hell, Kagome!" He screamed, barely lifting his head up as the spell refused to let him up. Kagome didn't reply, instead ignored him and walked off with the others and continued to chat about any exciting news in her time, "Kagome…" He left the threat hanging.
"Oh, Sango, my friends in my time told me this cute quote that was being spread around." Kagome beamed.
"Really, what is it?" She replied, Kagome always told her of the latest 'trends' in her time. They were very fascinating and it was interesting to see what the girls did in her time, it had changed a lot since this era.
"It's 'what gestures mean,' mainly for relationships but some were for friends." Kagome stated before starting to recite what her friends had told her.
- Holding hands – "We can learn to love and trust each other," and later on, "I'm comfortable to show our love to the world!"
- A wink - "Let's get it on!" or "I got some naughty plans for later!"
- Slap on the butt - "Watch out!" or it may mean "I'm jealous and you are only mine!"
- Playing with the ear - "I can't live without you," and "You are adorable."
- Arms around the waist – "I love you too much to let go."
- Looking at each other's eyes - "Let's get romantic," when the look deepens - "I feel so much for you and I want you now."
- Holding on tight - "Don't let go."
- When a man sniffs your smell without you noticing or at least acts like you don't notice - "I long for you, your taste, your skin, I want to bury my face and drown in you."
"That last one's strange, but it does happen sometimes." Kagome shrugged.
Sango giggled a little, "Is that how you tell a guy likes you in your time?"
Kagome looked thoughtful, "Well, it's just recognising the signs for flirting. So I guess, yeah in a way… but it's more for fun than anything else."
The rest of the way they talked about other unimportant stuff, never seeing the watchful golden eyes lurking in the above trees that narrowed ever so slightly.
'I'll get you Kagome…' He had just found a great way pay her back in a way she would never suspect.
She would never know what had hit her…
Yeah I know, it's a short chapter for me but, hey, I finally updated and the others for this story aren't that far away.
