A/N: Okay, so this was basically just a shot in the dark for me. It was fun to try something new, though. I hope that everyone likes it :)

Thanks to Michelle for reading and giving her opinion.

P.S.: I don't own Chuck or Blair.

Needs and Desires

"Are you coming to the ball?" Blair asked Chuck reluctantly.

"Balls are for losers," he said in a dumb response. He sounded like a surfer "dude" and instantly regretted it. Chuck Bass normally did not speak in this fashion.

"Call me crazy, but I thought you'd be one to like balls. They've served you well in the past," Blair murmured with a sexy and throaty voice as she reached out and stroked his pants.

"Don't think you'll accomplish your goal, Waldorf. I've developed some self-control as of late..." he trailed off in a dreamy and slightly cracking voice.

Enough of his playing, Blair thought to herself. She was done with this game and she wanted some honesty for once. Not just the figurative dancing they had been doing lately.

"Fine. Then tell me you don't get shivers when I do this," she whispered in the crook of his neck and licked the shell of his ear, eliciting a sharp groan in response.

"Go right ahead and try your damnedest, Blair. You won't get much more than that," he grunted out and panted slightly. She realized quickly that he was lying through his teeth.

"Hell, maybe I'll just stop," she said in an eerily calm voice. She pulled away from him and her eyes took on a glassy sheen of iciness when she gazed at him next.

"I swear to God, you better finish what you started."

"Just wait here a minute, Bass. I thought you said you had developed self control," she snipped at him through clenched teeth. She wanted him to admit his feelings.

"Kill me then, Blair, because that would be better than lying so much; yes, I know you know I'm lying. I'm so tired of it...I'm tired of the hoops we have to jump through. Why don't we just give it up?" Chuck sighed as the words fell from his lips and he ran a hand raggedly through his hair.

"Let me be clear on something, Chuck," Blair walked closer to him in a stalking manner so as to frighten him. "Blair Waldorf does not. Back. Down." She poked her fingers into his chest to better enunciate the last two words.

"Maybe I can make you. If memory serves, your resolve is often flimsy around certain beings...Perhaps..." he dragged his finger seductively down her chest and to the crevice between her breasts and she gasped.

"Never, Chuck Bass, will I give in to you," She bit out and turned away from him.

"Oh, but you already have."

"Puh-lease. Don't feed me your line of bull." She puffed out her lips in disbelief and denial.

"Quoting someone we all love dearly, 'Don't eff with an effer." Chuck said with a leering smirk as his breath grazed her neck lightly.

"Right. And on that note, I'll be leaving." She turned on her heel and began walking out.

"Simmer down, Waldorf. I was only keeping up our wonderful witty banter," Chuck muttered huskily in her hair.

"'Till when? Until one of us gets hurt? Because it always ends like that Chuck," Blair whispered as tears sprang to her eyes.

"Until this happened," Chuck murmured and took her by force into his arms, kissing her with fervor.

"Violate me much?" Blair barked at him as she pulled away.

"Well, you dangled yourself in front of me and then just pulled right away! That's the most unfair of unfair if I do say so myself," his squinted eyes and low voice showed his extreme anger.

"Xericity attitudes do not become you, Chuck," Blair shot back.

"Zone out, then, and just give in to your needs and desires," he whispered on her lips as he leaned in and pressed them to his gently.
