Lily Potter
Chapter 1 On the way to Hogwarts.
Lily Potter broke into a run and burst through onto platform 9&3/4. This was Lily's 4th year at Hogwarts. She quickly spotted her friends Alice Prewett and Mary MacDonald. She rushed over and gave them both a hug when suddenly someone shouted her name. "Hey Evans," it was James Potter. Lily had loathed James Potter from the moment she set foot into Hogwarts; he was a bully, mean and thought that he was the greatest. He was accompanied by his 3 friends Remus Lupin, Peter Pettigrew and Sirius Black. "Hey Evan wait up." Lily had turned swiftly and started to walk towards the train. "Locomotor Mortis," Lily had been sent face first into the platform by James Leg Lock curse. Mary had turned round and had her wand less than an inch from James's forehead. "Try that again and we'll see what you look like after a bat bogey hex." Tears stung Lily's eyes as she got up from the floor and brushed the dirt off her jeans. James couldn't believe it he asked Lily to wait up and she didn't so now he was staring at the end of a wand. Lily had just noticed everybody on the platform was standing round them. "What was that for, you think you're so great don't you?" Lily screamed, before James could answer Lily drew her wand and slashed it through the air and shouted "STUPEFY". James was now lying flat on his back looking up a Severus "Snivellus" Snape who was laughing at him.
When Lily, Alice and Mary had got off the train they heard Severus shouting "What is your problem she did nothing to you," another voice followed of none other than James Potter "Got yourself a girlfriend Snivellus? I'm surprised you can see her over your huge nose and greasy curtains." Alice was first to turn around and head towards the commotion. Severus had James and Sirius pointing there wands threateningly at him. "Expelliarmus" James yet again had been disarmed by a girl. Lily ran over to Severus and embraced him in a hug. "Thanks Sev for standing up to them like that." "It was nothing they just shouldn't have..." before Severus could finish the strict crisp voice of Minerva McGonagall rang out through the air "Potter, Black, Evans, Prewett, MacDonald and Snape come with me." The 6 of them walked towards the school in silence. The silence was only broke by the yawn of Sirius. They were lead up past the Great Hall where they could hear voices of hundreds of students enjoying themselves. "In" McGonagall had opened the door to her office; she conjured up 4 more chairs and sat behind her desk. "Well do you want to explain to me why you 6 have been duelling since you were on Platform 9 &3/4?" Lily explained everything from the leg lock curse to him starting on James. After what it felt like an hour of silence McGonagall spoke. "All 6 of you will serve detentions for your antics I've never been more ashamed of Gryffindor students, fighting with each other we are supposed to be working together." Snape hadn't said a word the whole time but suddenly gained the courage to argue with McGonagall. "Professor I'm sure I heard you wrong but 6 of us I was the only one who didn't perform magic."This was the wrong move as McGonagall exploded in a fury never seen before "So you think you can get away with antagonizing black and potter I however think otherwise another nights detention for all of you" these words hung in the air before the arguments. "But professor we didn't do anything" "ENOUGH that will teach you all about arguing and fighting with each other you will eat here together and then head to your common rooms and Severus, Professor Slughorn will be notified.
