"Hey...you dropped this..."
Glancing up from his text book, Yoshio Akamatsu saw something he never expected: Kazuo Kiriyama, leader of his own gang and toughest kid on campus, was offering him the same pencil Yoshio had lost moments ago. "Uh...t-thanks..." Yoshio replied nervously as he took the pencil and went back to work. Nodding his head slightly, Kazuo turned around and sat back at his desk.
'That was odd...' Yoshio thought as he wrote down some basic math problems, 'Kazuo normally doesn't help anyone but himself; he barely cares about his own gang, for crying out loud!' However, he just couldn't stop thinking about what Kazuo did for him. Yoshio wasn't gay or anything, but he always found those who even bothered giving him the time of day to have some sort of goodness in their hearts. That was just the kind of person he is.
When the school bell rang, while gathering his backpack and supplies, Yoshio ran out into the hall when he bumped into (SURPRISE SURPRISE) one Kazuo Kiriyama. The ferocious teen with slicked-back hair was reading what looked like one of those porn novels Ryuhei's normally seen walking around with. Kazuo didn't look like he was enjoying it, though.
"Ah! H-Hello there, Kiriyama-san!" Yoshio exclaimed, his entire body shaking. He couldn't help it, though; Kazuo was quite the intimidating force. Kazuo nodded in response to Yoshio's words and replied, "Greetings, Akamatsu-kun. I see you have been doing quite well today since I handed you your pencil back. Guten tag..." And with that, he was off.
Yoshio stood there in the hall for a few moments before asking aloud, "WHAT THE HELL DOES 'GUTEN TAG' MEAN?" Without a moment too lose, Yoshio ran after Kazuo as fast as his big legs can carry him, not about to lose someone who he could possibly 'hang out with'...
...As if.
