A/N: So this is just a random one-shot that popped into my head out of nowhere after drawing AltLivia for no real reason last night.
"There's a reason we're all here." She says, her voice the only one in a sea of silence. There is no response; no one knows quite what to say, "We're here for a reason." She repeats, staring her blonde double in the eye,
"Yes." Her double replies, "We're here for a reason. But none of us know what that reason is."
She sighs and stares at the ground. Her double is right.
She knows there is something missing. A piece of the puzzle is lost, whipped away by the meeting of two worlds. What that puzzle piece is she does not know,
"Something's missing." She snaps her head up at the sound of her double's voice echoing her thoughts,
"I was thinking the same thing." She stares into her double's eyes, and her double stares back.
In that moment she feels as if they are two parts of the same whole. Ying and Yang.
They have their differences. They have their flaws. But they are both the same woman.
They are both Olivia Dunham.
