She had her heart broken by the love of her life

Amy stood on the bridge where he said he loved her and asked her to marry him. She never thought it'd be the place he broke her heart.

So she looked for love in different places

After going to the couples cafe, she decided to take a walk. She walked down the street to preoccupied with her own thoughts of sorrow to notice the person in front of her. Since she was busy thinking, she didn't realize she'd ran the poor man over.

But she never ever thought she'd find love in his heart.

"Shadow?" Amy questioned as a smile gathered upon his face as she recognized him.

He proved her wrong

He led her into the grand establishment and was soon led by a waitress to their table in the middle of the restaurant. He looked at her love in his eyes. Amy couldn't help but smile even though she was still angry for what had happened earlier on.

And showed her what love really is.

"No one can ever tell me otherwise," he stated clearly watching her eyes light up. "Amy Rose, will you marry me?"

But when her ex came back

"Hey beautiful" she heard a voice say that nearly made her jump out of her skin. She didn't want to look a the person at the moment, but she did reluctantly. "Hey Sonic" she said, her arms crossed and head turned.

And tried to steal her away

"Oh Amy" Sonic said slowly grinding against her body. "Get off me!" she screamed slapping him clear across the face. This sent him off the wall and he attacked her.

He felt he needed to protect her

Amy was still shaken up by the event that had occurred. Shadow knew how bad she must of felt. 'I'll kill that bastard' he thought in rage.

Even if it was the death of him.

"I knew I'd find you here" Shadow said, anger clear through his voice. "Well ya found me" Sonic said getting up and facing Shadow. Before he really knew what was going on, Sonic had tackled him and had him close to the edge of the cliff. He was a bit scared, but it wasn't the cliff that scared him, or the gun that Sonic held. It was something much greater than that.

So what else was she to do

Amy ran as fast as she could to the hospital. Even if it wasn't that fast, she still could make she in time.

Than to give him the one thing she knew meant most to him

"Shadow, please be alright, you have to be, just please!" Amy cried, hoping to dear god that he was o.k.

Her love.

"Amy I-" "shhhh you don't have to say a word"
