AN: I wrote this a while ago. I have hard time sharing "poetry" (the term is used loosely in this case). But I was looking through my notes of things that needed to be typed up and this was one of them, as I reread it I felt it kind of fit Ginny for some reason. Mostly how she always loved Harry. Always. And he had to grow to love her. I don't know.. anyway, random little poem, Ginny's point of view.
The Truth of Sunrise:
When I wake in the morning light I see your face
I see the way your mouth frowns, your shallow breaths escaping
The rhythm of your beating heart.
Are you thinking of me now, in your land of dreams?
No.
But I was thinking of you. I'll always think of you.
Just like this. With your eyes peaceful, your breathing even
The way you look me in the eyes and lie
The sun shines through the venetian blind
But I don't see it.
I see you and the mistakes you've made
And I see me. And the truth I didn't want to believe.
