A/N: I don't really know where this is coming from, I just started to have the conversation in my head so I wrote it down. Could possibly set after the Season 1 finale but not in particular. I have no idea so no spoilers for anything. All mistakes are mine, it's not beta'd this time.
The Sweet Side
"You really do care...about me..." She said softly, realisation hitting her.
"Of course I do. How couldn't I?" He replied, smiling sweetly.
And there the sexual innuendo comes, she thought, in 3...

"You're extraordinary, Kate. You're beautiful- on the outside just as much as on the inside. You're caring, determined in your job and a wonderful person. You're an amazing detective, too but you know that. How couldn't I care about you?"
Kate Beckett found herself at a loss of words. She hadn't expected an answer like this.
"I..." She took a second to collect her thoughts, before she smiled wholeheartly, "Thank you, Castle."
They stayed like that for a second until Castle broke the silence again.
"Always."
"You know...if you keep m trust in you like this and if you keep being so sweet, I might not question your caring again." She said smiling, standing up. Castle followed her close by.
"The night is still young, wanna come over for a drink or two?"
"Why, so you can get me drunk and sleep with me?" Kate didn't sound angry. In fact the smirk on her face gave away her teasing.
"And betraying your trust? You wound me, Detective."
"Fine, then." She smiled at him.
Yeah, she definitely liked the sweet and caring side of his.
