A/N: Okay I think this probably will be my last fnaf oneshot for a while. I have no idea why I named Foxy Danny but to me it just fits. My headcannons are that Phone guy might actually be Foxy's father and for some reason I'm slightly obsessed with the time after Phone guy's death. Not sure why exactly. Oh well.
It's not that they aren't scared. But the older two just did their best to hide it, even Golden wouldn't say much about what this thing called Heaven could be. It was something whispered at night when the lights when out and before the night guard returned. "Danny?" Chica calls out one night just before 11 pm. "Can I ask you a question?" She tugs slightly at his curtain hoping that the fox within won't shoo her away. Normally they won't move much before midnight but the youngest has wanted to ask for what feels like years now.
Slowly the curtain moves and the red haired fox sticks his head out, "Sara it's a little early don't you think? I mean it's not even midnight." He says quietly unsure if the others are awake yet or not.
Chica nods slowly knowing that she might get in trouble for not being in her spot, "I know but you know a lot of stuff we forgot."
"Well that's cause-" He stops short knowing he shouldn't say certain things out loud incase the Puppet is listening. "What was your question?"
"Um..." She looks down before quietly asking hoping that he has at least a few of her answers, "Danny what's Heaven?"
"Heaven?" Foxy answers back with a slight cock of his head, "Why do you want to know that?"
Again she answers quietly, "Because I'm afraid…"
"Of Heaven?"
"No…" She doesn't look up at him as she shuffles slightly, "But what if we don't go? I remember it's important to go but…" She thinks hard trying to remember the words that at one time were so important as she sits.
Foxy nods understandingly, "We will, it's just gonna take us awhile is all." He opens the curtains and sits down across from her. "You trust me right?"
She nods, "Well yeah Danny but how do you know?"
Chuckling he takes her hand, "Cause," He looks around making sure no one is listening before whispering, "My Dad told me so." At this his tail starts to wag in memory at the man and his loving words. "He said that Heaven isn't really that far away and that we'll be there soon. We just have to wait a little longer."
"How does he know?"
"Cause he went there…" His tail lands with a small thud as he remembers what happened to his father and how he cried when he saw Golden stuff him into that suit. "He said always said he'd come back for us." He had sobbed the rest of that night until his father promised he'd return.
"But…"
Foxy shakes his head, "But nothing." Just as he's about to stand up and send her off to her place on stage she asks him one last question.
"But what is Heaven like?"
At this the boy is stumped for a moment, "Hmm well my heaven would be me and my Dad." He smiles, "We could finally that that camping trip he always promised."
"But what would mine be?"
While he wants to shrug he knows that seven year old needs help to remember who she once was, "Well I'm sure my Dad won't mind if you came with us." He says after a while knowing it will make her smile.
"Really?"
Now he stands and offers her his hand, "Sure thing Sara." Once she takes his hand he pulls her back up. "I think you should get back to your spot before the new guy shows up okay?"
Chica nods, "Okay and…thanks Danny." She hugs him tightly before dashing back to her spot.
He smiles sweetly before closing the curtain praying silently that his father didn't lie because it's all he has left to cling from, "No problem Sara…I just hope it all comes true."
